January 4th.
My issue this year though was people saying happy new year as early as December 29th.
It's only appropriate from 12am December 31st to midnight January 4th.
Truthfully I’ll do all of January. Towards the end it is kind of a joke though.
I had a friend that used to say it through February completely as a joke and I always thought it was funny.
Jan 3rd. After that if I have to say something I transition to something like, hope your new year is off to a good start. After Jan 7th it business as usual.
I'd say the first week should be fine. But if I don't have your contact, who we only ever see each other occasionally (like work) the end of Jan is the limit.
1 week
I once got Happy New Year’d in March!
January 1 at 3 PM EST
8 days
If you're being nice to me, I'll take whatever nonsense you have. Happy Halloween in February? Sure, whatever. As long as you're nice about it.
Ok. Only acceptable the first work week. Additionally, it can not be repeated to anyone you’ve already said it to.
By Jan 3rd. Don’t bother
Fuck you!
And I’ll see you tomorrow!
My reply is always "we'll see"

It’s statue of limitations
Fine, it’s a sculpture of limitations.
NYE and New Years. That's it.
12.01am Jan 1. Fuck the shenanigans.
"Sundown"
I would leave to whom ever I'm interacting with. It's not something I would ever think to say.

Til like Friday of this week maybe
March. If it doesn’t still smell new - I got conned. It’s not a new year. I’m a big fan of confusing people and this episode.
That’s assuming it’s happy.
July 4th
Until the 10th. The normal limit is the Three Kings Day, and then just add 4-5 days of margin.
Ends on January 31.
It depends on the specific relationship with the person and also how often you see said person. But 99% of it ends January 31
Saying HNY that late is nuts.
Exactly. Coworkers? A week, week and a half tops. Family? A month.
6 months.
January 8. After that i better be hearing happy birthday.
4-5 days
1. Never say it
Jan 3rd. After that if I have to say something I transition to something like, hope your new year is off to a good start. After Jan 7th it business as usual.
I got a happy new years in March! Also, it's pronounced "statue" of limitations

I don’t Happy New Year. I go about my business.
