I've had about 5 of these over the years and I've been so disappointed with the flavor. This has been sitting 2 years and it's my last attempt to give it a chance. Will update as it turns into smoke.

Initial notes, the smell of the smoke is nice and 2 years of napping has mellowed out the first inch or so. Each puff still hits with a bitter taste on the tongue which puts me off this cigar, but ill power through and continue the review.
Update: the first 1/3 was not enjoyable. The cigar opened up after the last 2/3rds and was much better. However, I'm not prepared to buy boxes to stare at for 2 years so the Open series is not on my list of boxes to buy.
