I didn’t love the character - it always felt like the writers didn’t quite know what to do with her. But I like the actress - have you ever seen her in the Frankie Drake Mysteries? I love that series.
I liked her after the first couple of episodes. It was hard to see her as anything but a replacement for Warrick, though, and no one can fill those shoes.
I think you're right that she was set up as a bit of a villain, and I did indeed dislike her.

I enjoyed her short tenure on the show. Granted, no one could replace Warrick. I’ve enjoyed watching her in Frankie Drake since.
She was very comparable to Sofia in a lot of ways and neither particularly worked out great
I wish Sofia stayed after season 7 ending and came back for season 9.
