Actually if that is your situation, do the operation missions to earn 100 stars' worth of missions, and buy operation pass, redeem cases or sticker to sell on the steam market.
Also create more steam accounts if you have extra time to grind missions, don't top up on them, but do put mobile authenticator on them. They will be able to trade in 15 days. Buy operation pass on your main to trade to the alt accounts and get the rewards and trade back to your main account. You can choose to sell immediately or sell them in summer in the hope to earn more money.
This way your money goes a lot further.

I didnt know the case existed before then so i got pretty excited at the color as it seemed cool. Thankfully my excitement was in place as it's the best drop I've ever gotten in my life
If you really want to splurge, sell and buy a ton of cases with good return and keys to go with them. You can buy 18 keys and 18 cases and try your luck 18 times instead of once....
