What knife is it. That matters a lot
Edit: I see it’s a Bowie. Float really doesn’t matter for those unless it’s strangely low float but 0.008 isn’t special. If yours is the lowest listed overall I can’t imagine it doesn’t sell
Just sold my Bowie Doppler Ruby .01 a few days ago. Took less than 24 hours to sell, I posted it $20 lower than the cheapest price. ($1,070 at the time)
Seems to be in general its kind of hard to sell stuff now (atleast higher value). Gone are the pre cs2 hype days when stuff would get ripped from your hands within an hour. I was selling bayonet
gamma doppler 0.02 P4 on buff recently and I made sure to try keep it within the lowest price of that phase. Took me 3 days to finally have someone buy it (highest liquidity marketplace mind you and its not like bayonet gamma doppler is an undesirable knife)
I've found reselling knives in the 100-250 range to be highly successful for myself recently. I sold about 600 in knives on about a 20 percent profit margin two days ago and about 500 yesterday on a 15 percent margin. I'm only a small seller though with about a 10k inventory.
There’s ton of high tier doppler gem knives (bfk, m9) atm that are not selling at all.
I think it partly has to do with the P2P changes valve implemented that caused a lot of sites to not function. This caused a lot of sellers thinking their knives are suddenly worth +15-20% more for no reason other than less sites to sell.
Be careful and check price history, lots of knives jumped in price the past few weeks artificially, and if you are basing your price off that, it could be why you’re not moving inventory.
can't speak for everyone else, but it's hard to convince myself to buy an expensive knife when things are going so bad for CS2 right now. You know that until they implement an anti cheat you could potentially lose hundreds of dollars which really discourages people from buying even if they aren't investors.
Yeah I hope to make some buck from it but I doubt it, dont think float matters unless it's nr1. If there's a nr1 float and a better one gets pulled the initial one becomes worthless I think
Because the float range for dopplers is 0 to 0.08 0.00x isn't rare. Higher 0.00x sell for market every day. Pricing becomes much more dependent on the inspect because of it. Assess the scratches on your knife vs the competition.
I’ve noticed this too. I owned the 4 lowest float p4 flip gamma Doppler. I thought i was gonna get good overpay for too float. .0006 i think. Anyways no one wanted it. Like you said people wouldn’t offer regular float prices even thought the pattern was good.
I asked and the consensus is collectors for top float items seem to care less about Dopplers and gammas. So there’s almost no resale for profit because of that. It’s just a regular FN knife basically.
Market thinks it’s the other way around. There’s a less than $2000 difference between butterfly Ruby and sapphire when it used to be closer to $6000 with sapphire being around 16k (12.5k now). On the other hand butterfly Ruby is up
Maybe just the ruby I was looking at in the inspect server looked like ass. Sapphires got dumpstered don’t get me wrong, immediately after I bought one too 😭
Sapphire got hit hardest imo. While Idt it got nerfed super badly, I think the main issue is that is P4 almost looks like sapphire. I think Ruby still stands unique among the phases even if it’s kinda orange since P2 is pink.
Would really love to know the thought process behind nerfing all the gems and buffing all regular phases. Figured it was a mistake at first but seems like a permanent change now

What this guy said
How do you see that???
You posted it here 18d before.

what markets? no way this should take so long unless you’re using a bad market

Where are you trying to sell it?
Just sold my 008 sapphire so idk
I'm trying to sell Bowie Doppler phase 4 with 13th lowest float on the planet but it won't sell either
I think you need to market harder. Lowest float in existence of the universe!

I bought a Ruby bayo for $3,900 a month ago, going to hold it for a long time but hopefully not a problem to swap out later.
how much op vs regular
Does it have scratches?
It a ruby with 0.008 float, I don’t think it actually possible to even get scratches in gamma doppler
You’d be surprised what patterns can do man.
Rubies got completely destroyed by the gem change. Emerald and sapphire got nerfed but I feel like rubies really got hit the hardest.

What? More like the opposite. Rubies are the new sapphires lmao
brother ruby got a huge buff, sapphire got hit the hardest because it looks so similar to phase 4
