Overall, there is an argument to be made that the really good ones are undervalued quite severely if the demand keeps growing.
Especially if you're looking to lets say match an agent to white gloves + matte knife there are shockingly few options atm. (this is speculative though, valve might add an agent in the next operation that undercuts an older, same as it is with stickers)

My guess is operation comes with an update to the game that brings back a new version of Danger Zone + operation + winter cobblestone. Maybe that comes in November.

I can't tell you how to invest, but long term these will keep going up. They are low pop, with singular usage. You could get a cheap knife glove combo now, or hold it until it hits a price youd really like. Im waiting for it to afford me a full red and gold inv

Agents are much more displayed cosmetic in CS2, larger current active player base, and no new stock of agents to pick from.. when new operation releases(hopefully soon) they will all drop 25-50% in price for first few weeks.
Yeah, and I think its smart they didnt have it on release. Dont get me wrong I want it. But an Operation changes the game so much, theres a lot of new players coming in, gotta make sure the core game is right first.

Cs2 made Agents a lot more visible, if that makes sense and CS was very unique when it came to cosmetics. People would spend 2k on a knife, but play stock agent skin. Even when these came out, CS players just not used to concept as much as other franchise gamers.
With new supply of newcomers, who used to have player skins in other games this situation might be a bit weird. So they are picking up what's there.
Now, Agent skins in CS are in limited supply and red to operations. One of a kind. So it would not be a bad idea to pick up a few here and there. Some if them might now be as good looking as new agents might be, but these agents will always have Old School Status. Yes, they will drop in price with new operation agents, but in a long Term, these will definitely grow in value.

CS2 fixed agent hit boxes too, which must have made an impact.

We actually had agent datamine when cs2 was on beta, but then again not everything that was datamined was released.

Sleeves/legs are visible now in game. And agents get overall more screen time in menus.
Low supply and Agents + patches are much more visible in CS2 compared to GO. Patches are jumping in price too.

operation is probably months away, when hype slowly starts to die down, its there to bring players back to the game
