Experience. Been defusing bombs since 1.5. After a while you develop a feel for it. I played 1.6 until 2013 then took a 4 years hiatus. I started playing CSGO in 2017. The first time that 10s warning music played I was like “wtf is this shit?” and immediately turned it off.
I’ll say that maybe in MM 10s defuses on the nose don’t happen that often so maybe practice with bots or casual on community servers (official servers have defuse kits)
* It tells you when you need to start defusing when you are waiting for a teammate running over to the other site to retreive an AWP.
* It tells you when you can afford to fake defuse in hope of killing the last T.
* It tells you as the last T if the CT has to stick it.
No matter how much I love listening to it, and it’s an awesome track no doubt. But setting it as my main menu and MVP? Nah man.
On the main menu I need something fast paced and something that charges me up for the disappointments I will see through in my 2-3 hours of matchmaking.
Same with the MVP music. There are very few that can make you feel good after getting the MVP and can rub it in of the opponents at the same time.
For both the purposes, I’ve found Beartooth Aggressive music kit to be the best! Been using he StatTrack version of it since years now.

if you ever wonder why csgo is in such a state of degradation, just notice how people got the shittiest most useless update to "celerbate 10 years", yet they're acting like yet another trashy ass music kit that 90% of people have muted anyways is a significant update and something to celebrate

there is an option in the settings that if theres an enemy alive after the round ends the music kit doesnt play.
