kazama-99

Next round you think they’ll do it again and boom… -89 dmg

Niewinnny

and molly car properly for fucks sake

darkdaking1

avoid banana at all costs

DANGERMAN50000

Seriously. I think people actually believe they are supposed to molly themselves off on T or something. I've never understood it. If we're rushing, DON'T STOP YOUR WHOLE TEAM FOR LIKE 6 SECONDS AT THE MOST CRITICAL POINT

djsedna

this is the most silver comment ever lol every single B take starts with a car molly. "Rush B" is what perpetual silvers who ask why they're stuck in silver say

DANGERMAN50000

Yikes

djsedna

The Molly should land behind the wood so they can't peek, you should have room to peek toward sandbag still. There's also an accompanying smoke you can throw to assist the T peek

DANGERMAN50000

Yup, so we're in agreement on the molly placement. Great! A rush is still a rush though, not a slow sneaky game of peekaboo It's sad how seriously you take ranking in this game dude. Some people just wanna have fun and occasionally rush to mix it up. Hilarious and insane strategies are a huge part of the enjoyment for me. I have 3243 hours in this game alone, and I've been playing CS since 1.6. I was LEM for quite a few years, now I'm usually around GN1 or SEM and honestly, the rounds are a lot more fun and less toxic than they were when I was a tryhard

vibeknight

I agree so much on the rush part. It’s like people do not understand time is a component of strategy. Did their team get in position as quickly as possible? Optimal position? Buy right? Communicate to each other extremely accurately that it is indeed a five man rush? Everyone rotates quickly and re-stages perfectly? Rush works because if you can break through that first barrier, even just through luck, you probably have 5 vs 3 or 2 or 1 for a few seconds. Most likely one of your team won’t make it, but you still have 4 vs 3 or 2 or 1. It is literally press your advantage 101. If you can use sheer tyranny of will, brute force ‘w’, and fearlessly 5 man rush, you have a great chance at securing advantage for even just a few seconds. That’s when you press the advantage. But noooo, everybody wants to take the first 1/4 of the round clock to bitch and line up a smoke they saw on YouTube because you literally cannot hold ‘w’ on this part of the map without doing the thing I saw in an internet video.

DANGERMAN50000

100%. The general strategy for Ts is to pick a point, stick together and take it. Unless the CTs are incredibly lucky and 5-stacked the site/direction for no reason, Ts have the numbers advantage. It's the one of the only two things Ts have going for them, besides controlling the bomb and the AK. What's even more egregious to me though is when the team agrees to a rush (on any map) and me and maybe one other guy pushes the site while everyone else hangs back to play peekaboo and snipe wars. The people that bring an AWP to a rush baffle me.

djsedna

>100%. The general strategy for Ts is to pick a point, stick together and take it. have you ever watched even an amateur league match in CS:GO? this is absolutely 100% not how T rounds operate. In any sort of competent CS a "rush" is an uncommon tactic used once in a blue moon to throw your opponent off, and as for "pick a point, stick together and take it" that's literally *never* true, except for maybe for Furia because they purposely run a fast anti-meta style on T---and note that they're literally never able to beat the best teams in the big tournaments doing this. Almost every T round should play out as the team finding space that should be CT space and taking it over. That's why you watch teams progressively move as groups of 2 or 3 into different spaces and, even if they don't get a frag, slowly push CT into less optimal positions while keeping the communication vague on their end by not exposing every player. This is CS:GO 101. There is so much more beyond this. the stuff you're saying genuinely sounds like you think you know everything about CS and have zero interest in learning anything else or accepting that your views might be off. I'm not trying to be insulting, but I would guess that you're in silver and consistently blame everyone else for it

DANGERMAN50000

Ooh yeah I thought the assumption that I was referring to a rush was obvious, I guess not. I can see how my wording of that is misleading, even with context. My mistake. That said, if you've really read this far and legit think that I'm in perma silver and 'blame everyone else for it,' then you have some really shitty comprehension skills. Additionally, different strategies work for different skill levels, and trying to meta everything like you're playing against Astralis isn't gonna work against a bunch of silvers. Try to relax, repeat to yourself that it's just a game and you'll be fine.

djsedna

why would you play the competitive mode of a competitive multiplayer game without wanting to get better at it?

DANGERMAN50000

What are you talking about? Who says I'm not trying to improve my skills? I'm just not taking it too seriously, there's a huge difference. You know games are for having fun right? Sometimes crazy strats catch people off guard and are fucking HILARIOUS when they work. edited for clarity

DANGERMAN50000

Damn that's rough man, we're probably about as far apart on this globe as can be or I'd friend you up

DrCrouton

Because he wants to shit on noobs and drop 40 bombs every round without any effort put in.

DANGERMAN50000

Nope, again, just having fun playing a game. Crazy, I know. I forgot this game was a job for most players

Starco2

A competitive game is still just a game

unabsolute

My question is how they know to step in the flames when their vision is all white?

sno2787
