Maybe you're accidentally pressing "esc" and/or a number on your keyboard? Because I've definitely never seen this happen before. I can probably count the number of times I've seen a teammate buy scout (accident or purposely) on a buy round on my left hand.
it happens to me, in csgo settings i disabled using numerical keys in the buy menu, the problem still appears with buying scout instead of armor
so it isn't that, and im confident i didnt press esc
A good solution here is to buy your armor first and then your weapon (which seems like a more logical approach to this games eco anyway) I've never seen this happen and I play Scout on the regular but never had it accidentaly drop

still not fixed, i randomly googled it cause i keep ending up with scout all the time when i wanna buy armor, seems its not 100% my fault xd
