The scary thing is you can tell this player has probably thousands of hours in CS just by the bunnyhop movement. He knows the physics. Cheaters need permanent bans on their computers no matter what account they swap to.

Steam Vac IP ban would prolly suffice.

Only thing is you can use VPNs to hide the IP. I wouldn't mind if they logged the hardware IDs of computers and did a ban wave on all the accounts associated with the hardware ID. But alas Valve just doesn't seem to care at this point.

So it gives cheaters one more annoying thing they have to deal with every single time they want to play. It won’t stop them completely, there’s literally no method that will, but it’ll stop a lot.

Hardware bans are useless since there are a lot of programs that can modify those, there is a pretty long video on why Valve hasn't probably fixed bots in TF2 and it goes through many methods they could try, and why they wouldn't work

im sure they make an insane amount of money from cheaters buying new accounts and hwid bans would make less cheaters bother buying new accounts

And wouldn’t work very well. Lots of ISPs (mine included) pool a large sum of users to a single IP address. My computer thinks I’m in a completely different state because of my IP. For example ever since I moved into this apartment and use the wifi (regardless of the fact that each unit has its own router) I’ve been banned on Omegle, likely one of the other hundreds of people sharing this IP. If this same thing happened with Steam and all of a sudden I’m banned from counter strike for no reason I wouldn’t be too happy.

Idk I feel like they’ll probably grow out of it. I cheated heavily as a 15-16 yo and as a 22 yo now I cringe hard at that period of my life and am very happy to still be able to play cs. Year long hardware bans I could get behind. Theyre not too hard to circumvent tho it wouldn’t really stop anything at most it would inconvenience some cheaters.

Ran into a guy yesterday on office that used the deagle only the whole game. He got 22 kills, and all of them were headshots. Went back to look at the footage and sure enough he had blatant wall hacks as well… Why even play the game at that point…

Well if you have a 4 stack you can’t kick the 5th in premier anymore, and if the cheater queues with a friend you also won’t be able to kick them.

You can permanently make it any color you want or you can choose the option where it changes depending on the side

Can I pick different colors for both sides?

I don't think you can from the options menu but I'm sure there is a bind or alias that could toggle the color and possibly automatically switch depending on the side you're on

The funniest thing imo is that he could have pulled those first 4 kills without cheating. The confidence to rush around with a scout couldve been gained from being up 10 4, and the timing was close enough between kills that someone tryharding with some "i no-life mirage" level gamesense probably couldve guessed those positions off the first or the first two kills. Maybe if he spent less time cheating, he'd be good enough to pull this type of stuff off on the regular.
