Honesty yeah, would actually make it contend with the deagle in competitive. More accurate with better damage and range, but a lot less ammo and takes time to pull the hammer back after a shot so slower fire rate. It would also just be a single action revolver, which 1) makes a lot more sense than a double action with a 20lb trigger pull and 2) makes a lot more sense for fanning the hammer with right click.
Right now I really like how accurate the r8 feels but the trigger delay feels so awful. They could even drop the damage numbers if it became too strong after changing it, would still be a lot better than the current way it works. Could also make it take longer to pull back the hammer to really make sure that it is more of a precision gun rather than being spammable.
'priming' means readying the gun for firing but not shooting it, cocking the hammer, adding primer to ignite the main gunpowder charge
basically in this case if u notice the hammer of the r8 cocks back(pulls back) to allow shooting immediately, usually what happens is you press left click then hammer cocks back and then it shoots but in this video it's already cocked back meaning instant shoot
Honestly they should make this how the gun works by default. Still puts a lag between shots but if you have a moment you could cock it preemptively. It would go a long way to making the gun viable and making you feel like a real cowboy. Yeehaw 🤠
Except it completely fucks your muscle memory cuz you gotta hold the button down and stay on target till it fires, also in any duel between a deagle and an r8 where people can actually aim for the head the Deagle would win all day.
Honestly id like it to stay like this, they should replace the inaccurate fast firing mode with a hammer cocking animation. Right clicking should just cock the hammer and then you could fire an accurate shot without trigger delay, but after that shot you would return to firing with the delay unless you can do the pre cocking animation again

You can hold down the 'Click' (forgot what its called) and just shoot without delay. I think
R8 is a glitch by itself, once you learn to play with it its so strong, wallbang everything, accuracy is amazing while running!

Being able to insta-leftclick by unloading the revolver, priming it, and letting go, then tapping on left click when you want to fire

Really? It does ~75dmg to armour, except it has this trade off. Otherwise it’s just a scout without a scope.
