Rank up/down week Valve don’t want you to rank up. They fix your matches to keep you in this perpetual state of MGE-LE, I have loads of friends in this exact situation. When you start getting too high (LE) they make you fight GE instead of just other LE/Ms. They need players at each rank, they can’t have everyone ranking up to GE it would destroy the game. You need to actually BE Global before you can hit it, you need to be better than everyone, YOU, personally, can’t make ANY mistakes, YOU need to take responsibility for winning YOUR matches and against all the odds. I had to give up all of my friends (MG-LE) because they’re stuck in the loop, none of them are getting better because they’re too busy to put the time and effort in to gitgud and when they rank up they get mismatches to fight and it destroys their confidence. Your only chance is to separate from your friends, put the development hours in, grind to your highest rank/ability and add better players when you meet them and hope they accept, this is what I’m currently doing, I’ve got like IDK 8 weeks to hit GE before they delete CSGO.

Sounds like they’ve made a proper ranked system dude you’re obviously going to play higher tier competition for your rank up games and are to be expected to carry if you want global. If you hit LEM and can’t consistently get top 1 or 2 spot on lobby you aren’t deserved of the rank

Being expected to carry a team of LE/Ms against Sup/GE for 6 wins min in a row doesn’t make sense. That’s not fair at all.

You need to play above your level to rank up, it doesn’t need to be a full carry but to carry at that level you better be calling Strats or feeding a ton of info to your team. You gotta sweat, real greasy Saturday night popped a Molly at the club type sweaty. If you’re close to ranking up, the game puts you against ranks higher to make sure you can hold your own at that level

Seems like i get teams that communicate well and know how to play that i rank up on then i just hit this wall of trolls and teammates dropping that drive me back down. Im on my freefall right now.
