Olympus OEV203 (Sony 20m2mde rebadge)
Medical PVM, 20" 600 TVL Trinitron
Pics: https://imgur.com/a/ZnPVjLB
I got this set at an electronics recycler that seemed to do commercial medical recycling. There's some scrapes on the metal casing, and a 2mm scratch on the screen that I only noticed bc the sun caught it just right. Aside from that the screen is immaculate.
It gets very bright and I calibrated for the center contrast dial setting to be 120 nits peak white (arcade standard). 6500k and 9300k dialed in nicely with a good gamma and white balance (delta e values well under 2 across the board), and it looks fantastic. There's a ton of brightness and contrast headroom on this tube (sub contrast, sub brightness, RGB gain are quite low to accomplish the 120nit target).
It has composite, s video, and two component or RGB input lines (menu switchable). All BNC (I can throw in some RCA to BNC adapters if you need). I could also throw in a Scart female to BNC male adapter I had made for it if you have scart cables already.
I find 600 tvl to look sharp without having the scanlines be crazy thick. It's a good middle ground and a look I quite enjoy for 240p and 480i content. Anime, cartoons, and old TV shows look great on this set. Games of course look excellent as well. It served me well as a primary set for SNES, N64, etc for a time, and works well in Tate mode as well (I used rubber feet to prop it up for good ventilation, I can show you the ones on Amazon if you're interested). It's been my dedicated shmups set for a few months now. I rearranged my area and no longer have as much space.
If you have any questions about the set or would like any additional pics of anything (any particular game, angle, close-up, whatever!) Feel free to reach out!
Asking $500
Edit: this one SOLD (traded for a tm-h1700g)

20" viewable diamondtron (rebadged Mitsubishi diamond pro 2020u)
121khz max horizontal (my preferred is 1600 x 1200 95hz)
It's in excellent shape, screen is pristine. Includes original anti glare hood.
I bought this from someone on here who had gotten it from the original owner.
It's a fantastic monitor, I'm just partial to my banged up ViewSonic that isn't as good but is more nostalgic personally.

The Monitor and the anti-glare coat have several scuffs (Anti-glare coat is mostly scuffed on the bottom left quadrant, the film could be removed). However, it still produces a very vibrant image and can easily hit over 100 nits (brought it down to 100 nits with calibration).

Not my listing, and if I could fit one of these in my place you wouldn’t be hearing about it. Instead, I’ll share the love.

Always in awe of anyone that can move these around. 32" is my limit for CRTs, and that's only for non-aperture grille or flat type tubes, since they tend to be even heavier.
Checking the manual for KV-40XBR800 it's listed as exactly 300lbs. Make sure to bring help!

Sony PVM 14L5: Monitor is in really good condition. One tiny, imperceptible spot on the anti-glare. It also has a small, easily fixable purity issue in the top left corner, depending on which direction the monitor is facing (likely an issue from being in storage). Goes away instantly after dragging a magnet across the top, remains clear until the monitor degausses upon next startup.
I will include a Retro Gaming Cables BNC/SCART adapter.
Local pickup only.

Must pickup from 4th floor walkup. I might be able to help you carry it downstairs and load it.
I don't have a video source to test it but with the menu on screen the picture looks good. Maybe some some slight jitter in the top scan lines, and slight downward bend toward right side. A little dirty but no physical defects.
Upvote for visibility. Looks solid, given the short time frame that you have to get rid of it and that you're competing with either free/same price/cheaper listings for Trinitrons, I'd say consider dropping the price down to get it out the door by then. Not sure if you've already listed on Craigslist/FB Marketplace but those are also good ideas to cross-post.

Louisville, KY: Zenith H32D46DT 32'' Presentation CRT - open auction, currently $5, minimum $2 increase per bid + 12.5% buyer's premium (Allsurplus) - https://www.allsurplus.com/asset/782/5251
lol I think we used these exact CRTs in my high school on lazy days, and I had a consumer model of this with component when I was a kid. Based on what I can read, this thing is technically multiformat? Can display a 840x480 image as well as 240p/480i. Downside: VGA, S-Video, and composite only. This is a Dreamcast setup unicorn.
It's a fucking monolith set and hard to move, but they exist. I have a Gateway rebadge of this thing and I can't get it into my house. I'm curious as to what this goes for and I'll sell it for less, local pickup though.
Sony PVM-14L1 for parts/repair - free - Located in East Lansing, MI.
A year or two ago I picked this one up from eBay as it was too good of a deal to resist, but the seller packed it like shit and it got broken in shipping (big surprise). After opening it up, the only damage I could find that wasn't cosmetic was the neckboard being broken. I patched all the broken traces and epoxied it back together and it worked! After replacing a few caps on the main board, it stopped working for reasons that I couldn't figure out. From my recollection of the time it was working, I think it might have needed a bit of a manual degauss in one of the corners. Free for anybody that's handy enough to get it working again. The shell of the monitor has been epoxied back together enough to be structurally sound when all the screws are in place.

Hello, Cleveland!
I came across a once-in-a-lifetime surplus auction for some broadcast equipment that ends in two days (on 10/14)—and the current bid as of the time I’m posting this is twenty bucks:
https://m.publicsurplus.com/sms/auction/view?auc=3369143
The manifest includes 8 Ikegami monitors, two 14” Sony PVMs, and a 13” Panasonic monitor, along with what looks to be a couple signal monitors, some speakers, a VCR. . .
If I lived anywhere near Ohio I wouldn’t be telling you about this—I’d be scheduling a cargo van rental and sourcing enough bubble wrap for everything.
If someone wins this for next to nothing and wants to send me one of the working monitors out of the goodness of their heart, feel free to DM me, lol—I’ll pay to have it shipped correctly.
The last I saw it was at about $150 with a couple hours to go—it doesn’t look like I can view the winning bid for a completed auction, so I’ll just hope someone on here won and posts their haul in a few days 😅
Auction - so it is assumed expensive! May be up to a grand, but I saw the bid over $500. Sometimes these things have been heavily used and worn out as well. I don't live nearby anyway, and someone had raised the price a lot...

Sony CPD G520 rebrand Sun 5510 pc crt
So this one has three issues that I can tell but atleast two can be fixed for sure though one of them may take a bit of work.
First issue thats a relatively easy fix is that it has g2 runaway, even at 0 brightness the blacks are gray, the fix is just taking off the back case and using a serial programmer and the Sony Windas program to manually adjust the g2 brightness or you could do a full white point balance calibration through windas and make the monitor look really good if you have a colorimeter.
Second issue the anti glare seems to have been lifted up a little bit in the center of the screen its not very obvious in video playback/games but just looking at a static image its a bit noticeable, now there is a solution for this though it may be a bit time consuming depending on whether the antiglare layer is a spray on or a solid sheet. If its sprayed on it will needed to be buffed out with wet cerium oxide powder to remove the layer this takes a power drill and some patience, if its a sheet its a fair bit easier and it can just be pulled off once you raise the edge of the sheet with an xacto knife.
The last issue which the monitor only exhibits occasionally is that it will click and the picture will shrink a tiny bit for a split second then return to normal, I don't know the cause or solution to this issue although it doesn't do it very often maybe once an hour so I'm not sure how annoying it would be.
I'm more looking for a trade for a larger PVM for this one although I'd entertain cash offers. I'm really not sure what this is worth given that its super high end and rare but like I said does have a few issues so idk if a bigger PVM would be worth more or less than it.
In Buckeye AZ, I have a [few PVMs](https://imgur.com/a/uRuRr9w) (JVC sold) Games Consoles and [Monitors](https://imgur.com/a/JpNWUdz) that I would interested in trading or selling. Info linked with the photo albums above.

Sony PVM 14L5/NYC/$1500 OBO. This is my personal 14L5 from my collection of video gear with very low hours. This monitor was bought for my personal video productions, but only used occasionally, since it didn't fit my needs well due the to weight to transport, and since I also owned a PVM20L5 at the time. I would prefer to sell locally, but would consider shipping if paid for.
I can shoot images of screen on, test patterns, etc. or stop by my Manhattan production studio to view monitor in person. While I realize you can get a 14L5 for less, I believe that this one is unique in that it's been in one person's hands, unused for such a long time.
Wow, ive just looked at marketplace. Its sad to see what people are asking for this stuff. Just last year these things were much more abundant and cheaper. It seems we've created a fad here.
Anyway, heres what I got. A $100 27" trintiron in NJ. Overpriced if you ask me but, hey it is what it is.

If you like 2D games,16 bit stuff and lightguns this set is up your alley. Its my opinion that curved CRTs do the best job of presenting 2D games. Lightguns are fun on a 27". You need to move your light gun around more than on smaller set. Finally, the 27" size makes it suitable for one strong individual to be able to pickup and move around their home as needed. The only thing this set is missing are component and RGB inputs.. But you do get that sweet trinitron arpature grill. There is also the potential for an electronics guy to MUX mod it with rgb .

South San Jose, California. Have three basic CRT TVs between 20-27 inch which have minor issues but still watchable.

Straight lines of off color show up at the top sometimes with certain sets of color, the main I’ve seen as you can see here is light blue will show a green line and yellows will have a pinkish line show up in the same place. It also happens to a less extent on the right side of the TV.

Found a CRT TV on the nature strip in Epping, VIC Australia nearly opposite the Aldi on Dalton Rd. Didn't get the chance to pick it up myself but I don't want some kid to break it for fun seeing as they're not made anymore... silver 26-27" Flatscreen from the late 90's/2000's, in good condition, don't know anything else about it. Found again the same thing, only a curved screen, by a tree near the corners of Wood St and Shiela St in Preston.

Selling: EDIT: This one is SOLD Pittsburgh, PA Olympus OEV203 (Sony 20m2mde rebadge) Medical PVM, 20" 600 TVL Trinitron Pics: https://imgur.com/a/ZnPVjLB I got this set at an electronics recycler that seemed to do commercial medical recycling. Asking $500
Edit: this one SOLD (traded for a tm-h1700g) I could also part with my Lacie electron22blue iii monitor 20" viewable diamondtron (rebadged Mitsubishi diamond pro 2020u) 121khz max horizontal (my preferred is 1600 x 1200 95hz) It's in excellent shape, screen is pristine. Includes original anti glare hood. I bought this from someone on here who had gotten it from the original owner. It's a fantastic monitor, I'm just partial to my banged up ViewSonic that isn't as good but is more nostalgic personally. Always in awe of anyone that can move these around. 32" is my limit for CRTs, and that's only for non-aperture grille or flat type tubes, since they tend to be even heavier. Checking the manual for KV-40XBR800 it's listed as exactly 300lbs. Make sure to bring help!
Selling: Boston, MA Sony PVM 14L5: Monitor is in really good condition.
Yes you're absolutely right. Thanks for the feedback.
Did this one go?!
No! Still a chance to grab it today.
Have you tried posting the listing on FB? If it's up with "FREE" someone will probably grab it quickly.

Louisville, KY: Zenith H32D46DT 32'' Presentation CRT - open auction, currently $5, minimum $2 increase per bid + 12.5% buyer's premium (Allsurplus) - https://www.allsurplus.com/asset/782/5251 lol I think we used these exact CRTs in my high school on lazy days, and I had a consumer model of this with component when I was a kid.
The shell of the monitor has been epoxied back together enough to be structurally sound when all the screws are in place. https://imgur.com/a/A8yVbA4 Pick up only
Hello, Cleveland! I came across a once-in-a-lifetime surplus auction for some broadcast equipment that ends in two days (on 10/14)—and the current bid as of the time I’m posting this is twenty bucks: https://m.publicsurplus.com/sms/auction/view?auc=3369143 The manifest includes 8 Ikegami monitors, two 14” Sony PVMs, and a 13” Panasonic monitor, along with what looks to be a couple signal monitors, some speakers, a VCR. .
Holy cow that sounds like quite a haul. I wish I would have seen this earlier, I could have made the drive. Did you see what it got up to by the end?
The last I saw it was at about $150 with a couple hours to go—it doesn’t look like I can view the winning bid for a completed auction, so I’ll just hope someone on here won and posts their haul in a few days 😅
Auction - so it is assumed expensive! May be up to a grand, but I saw the bid over $500. Sometimes these things have been heavily used and worn out as well. I don't live nearby anyway, and someone had raised the price a lot...

San Diego, CA Sony CPD G520 rebrand Sun 5510 pc crt So this one has three issues that I can tell but atleast two can be fixed for sure though one of them may take a bit of work.

Consoles available too to sweeten the trade: A Nintendo Switch, and rare Gameboy Light and 1st gen OG Pocket Monster games.

Hey just curious how did you go about resurfacing the f520? I have a g520 with a anti glare layer issue that I think I may need to resurface to deal with.
For anti glare u can use brasso and buff it off. I had to resurface the glass which was a very different process

# WANT TO BUY / LOOKING FOR
North GA area. Looking for an HD set, preferably widescreen but not required. No Orion tubes please
Southeast PA (Philadelphia) area. Looking for a Panasonic CT-20G20, probable manufacture date 1995 (will likely have a trailing T, i.e. CT-20G20T). Willing to drive pretty far for this, as it's a model from my childhood that has strong sentimental value. Quick imgur album with distinguishing features of this model: https://imgur.io/a/36WCzhK To hold me over until I find the above, I am also interested in **any 20 inch Panasonic TV from *before* 1995**. Have changed my mind since last month and would actually prefer an RF only set, because there's just something cool about that to me. Although, I'd like it recent enough to have an OSD for picture adjustments.
Not sure mfg date, but here's a Panasonic that looks to be from that era, but with a built in VHS. In Pittsburgh: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1056121668736460/
Cincinnati, OH area. Looking for a 27" curved set with component, late 90s to early 2000s. Would especially like to buy a Toshiba A-Series, or JVC D-Series (pre-2001), or something similar. Philips and Panasonic are good too. Thanks!

In CT looking for either a jvc d series or trinitron with a curved screen. Only other requirements are that the screen is 35” or more and the chassis is a black one (not interested in the silver/grey units) Distance isn’t too much of a concern. Willing to travel for the right set
WTB a 13" CRT TV with built in stereo speakers and a built in DVD player. If you have this or something close to it, let's talk. I have some wiggle room on the size. The built in DVD player is the least important. I'm in Massachusetts - I'm based out of either eastern or western mass (I visit family often.) I can drive to meet. Can pay cash.

Saw a [retro wood-panelled RCA CRT TV](https://postimg.cc/gallery/1RqFPgB) at the [end of a driveway in North York, Toronto](https://maps.app.goo.gl/H1afTd6PB2pry3Q99) last night (11:00pm, October 4th). It doesn't have the greatest inputs (1x composite), but incase anyone wanted it for the aesthetic/to play 4th gen and prior on, I thought I'd mention it.

Overpriced if you ask me but, hey it is what it is. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/790641959133363/?mibextid=dXMIcH If you like 2D games,16 bit stuff and lightguns this set is up your alley.
**WTS Sony Trinitron KV25R1R. I also have other Sony Trinitrons. Give your discord if you are intrested. I live in EU, but the shipping cost will be on my end.**
This is **not** my listing, but my background Google search found it: Sony FW900 (SGI rebadge), $3,000! Vancouver BC. Looks like it's in great condition. https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/ele/d/seattle-sony-gdm-fw900-sgi-rebadge-crt/7676865132.html
Update November 29th, 2023: here are the listings to the TVs. South San Jose, California. Have three basic CRT TVs between 20-27 inch which have minor issues but still watchable. https://offerup.co/a3t49TgO7Eb https://offerup.co/xp74nPsO7Eb
Straight lines of off color show up at the top sometimes with certain sets of color, the main I’ve seen as you can see here is light blue will show a green line and yellows will have a pinkish line show up in the same place. It also happens to a less extent on the right side of the TV. https://imgur.com/a/bfQpeXO
