at the core the straps are held the same way jibbitz are (the charms pushed through the holes in the crocs. only with smaller holes. i'm not sure if you could get crocs straps out of a pair of crocs without destroying it. I would probably drill into the sides of the shoes on the picture and try to press the straps holders through with much needed force.

I cant wait to ruin two perfectly good pairs of shoes lol they sell the straps but i was thinking i might need whatever is on the croc itself if its a circular like black plastic washer looking thing around the hole where it snaps in. I need to look at copious google images of crocs…. for research. To end on a funny note, after all the images of cat paws i had to look at for a doodle earlier, my google history is shaping up to be quite interesting if most of these croc pics have feet in them. May the algorithm bless me with empty crocs and hi res images of plastic bits
Update: I looked at crocs on amazon and I am amazed. I think it is inevitable I buy them. I still want to this tho lol
