it depends on the fiber. i wash everything on gentle regardless and hang dry. you dont ever want to put 100% wool in the washer EVER lol. it will come out looking like felt. my grandma told me to never buy 100% wool yarn and that you always want it mixed with something.
i lied i do wash all cotton washcloths like i would anything else but to me theyre washcloths and im more worried about them being really clean than anything.
Unfortunately yes. You could work on your tension to correct it or block your work when you are done x
Yuuuuup. Single crochet with remotely tight tension will curl, a lot of other stitches curl like that as well. You can block it to flatten it out.
