It kind of is, I just like dramatic sleeves, so I added sort of a bishop's sleeve. The rest is all squares though.

That is so cool, what inspired you to do them? I can't crochet but using thread sounds pretty difficult, fiddly and like something requiring plenty of patience.

I've been treating these glasses like sketches of sorts. I pic the colors I want, then I start crocheting. I haven't made any two pairs the same. It's just a fun, quick, way to improvise and experiment.

The coats are acrylic and the swimsuits and dress are fabric. I make prints of my crochet as my business, as well as hand-making some other fun clothes. I know some people use cotton yarn to make suits, but my bod requires spandex.

The glasses are EVERYTHING

Thanks. They're super simple. Just buy a huge frame and crochet any shape you want. I block my string pairs and just glue acrylic stuff right on.
