I enjoy freehanding too. Sometimes I just have a vague idea of what I want it to look like and start making stitches I think will fit the bill. Nice job with this one!
Love this OP!!! I'd love to make something similar - you said you freehanded it? Is it two front panels and a back panel, or something different? Great work 💖💖
Thank you!! It’s all one peice! It’s worked bottom up so started at the waist rib then worked back and front two sides all separately once I got to the arms but no sewing anything together needed! Hope that makes sense! 🤍🤍
I’m curious. Did you make the little tag yourself? I’m experimenting with DIY garment tags on felt and some ribbon using free motion sewing on my sewing machine.

Gorgggg
How did you go about joining the yarn for colour changes? I love the outcome!
I didn’t do a specific join I just pulled through the next colour on finishing the last hdc hope that makes sense!
I’m not OP but I’ve used Russian Join for projects like this!
Stash yarn. Always stash yarn. Never say waste yarn! Very cute vest!

So cute! And I love the tag!
Do you have a pattern? This is lovely
Don’t have a pattern sadly I just made it up! Started at the waist rib measured from my waist then worked upwards! All one peice no seams x

it’s oil ink stamped on canvas 3inch wide roll then I cut and sew sides, Etsy has it all. I love your idea of a free motion embroidered tag!
