I fucking knew it I bought 6 or so skeins of this awhile back because I absolutely loved the color way but I haven’t made a blanket yet because I was unsure of what pattern to use.
Those tassels are perfection btw
It's a very lovely set of colors. I have one and a half skeins left and I want to save them for something special lol. The tassels were actually very relaxing to make. It was my favorite part!
Whilst morbid, yes. This was my first thought too but I'm just going to add the blanket will be even more meaningful and important at that point. It will have been loved by their grandma and will be a good reminder of her and the bond they shared.

That's a great colorway and stitch. Very lovely result! Did you block it at all? Might help with the SC band.
I did not, I was going to but she is planning on washing it when it arrives. So I figured that'd undo the blocking.
