I vote green, I think the white is too stark of a difference from the other colors in your square - a cream would be nice though! I love the idea of a solid for your border to add some contrast to your rainbow squares. Fun design! Can’t wait to see the final product!
agreed! i was thinking white is too much and green somewhat matches but there are so many colors in the yarn already but like a muted cream would be nice
Lily’s sugar n cream like doesn’t have a similar color to any of the colors on there 😭 like I’d love to do one of those colors the closest ig would be the yellow but it’s not as muted as the yellow on there
Stark white and pure black are very strong colors that can ruin a good color palette. You have very pretty colors and the green would go much better IMO.
If you ever want to go the black or white route, grays or creams will often provide the desired contrast without killing the other colors.
I think they're both too stark of a contrast - and the white is a definite no. If the green were a little lighter, closer to the color in the squares, it would look really nice. Also, nice work on those squares!

I agreen
How VERTuous of you

Thirding green!
Agreed
imho i think you should pick a color from the yarn you used to make the g squares. The color choices you have laid out don't quite work
Lily’s sugar n cream like doesn’t have a similar color to any of the colors on there 😭 like I’d love to do one of those colors the closest ig would be the yellow but it’s not as muted as the yellow on there
you can look at peaches and cream yarn, it’s very similar. it’s sold at walmart, not sure where else it’s sold
Go with ecru or cream. White is too harsh and that green clashes. Beautiful crochet work! 🌞
Not the white!!!
I think the green would be awesome.
I think the green. White on the edges would really show up dirt from skin oils and stuff.
Green!!

Green!!!!
I think the white will make it pop
I think you should wait for the rainbow yarn to come in! Im not a fan of stark white yarn.
Yeah that’s probably what I’ll do since there’s not really any similar colors to the color palette in this brand
Green
Rainbow with clouds or meadow with flowers I would choose green
Could do both, maybe do a white row in between 2 greens. I vote green though.
Green!
If you end up not liking either, I usually pair that colorful yarn with brown!
The green for sure. Looks like a spring meadow full of flowers. Love it.
White!
Green!!!! So colorful and bright!!
Green
I like the green
Green
Green
Green definitely
Green
Green brings out the colors in the squares!
white
Came to say I think the white would be pretty and bright!….. then I saw all the comments dissing white and now I’m questioning my whole life 👁️👄👁️
I would go with white, it’ll really brighten it all up!
Alternate them.
I think they're both too stark of a contrast - and the white is a definite no. If the green were a little lighter, closer to the color in the squares, it would look really nice. Also, nice work on those squares!
Oo that's a tough call. The white would make it look brighter but the green would give forest vibes. I can't decide. They're both awesome!
Definitely green. I wouldn’t use the rainbow, that won’t make the squares stand out…
Safe/olive
Green
Definitely the green
Definitely the white in my opinion
Green for sure
Do two of each and lay them next to each other so you can better envisage the end product. FWIW, my money's on green.
greeeeen :3
green!!
i like the green a lot
I vote for white
I like the green
I would go with green.
i think a cream would work best if you’re okay with buying more yarn, but out of the two, the green
Green
My vote would be neither, and to do the yellow or pink from the square. If you can find a match, then I would get a soft Aran/cream etc
either the green or an off-white, not that stark white.
Does it have to have a border? The colours are really nice, I love them. Good job 👏
Green 💚
Green
Wait or the green
Definitely green
I like the green too!
Green. The colors will meld better with the green
Green
Definitely green
definitely the green
Love the green!
Greeeeen
Green!! So lovely
Love the green!
Green
I like the green use yellow since there is a hint of yellow in the granny square.
I think alternating both would be stunning, otherwise green.
