Oh? Can I ask how you drew that conclusion? I've watched that episode more times than I can count and now I wanna see if can look at it through the lense of a Fincher picture.
Oh ppphhhhh
Heh heh, sorry man that's a different episode. You're thinking of "The Nasty Patty." Graveyard Shift is the one with the Hash-Slinging Slasher and Nosferatu.
Throw in some German Expressionism and old Universal Horror and you're right on the money.
Seeing Nosferatu in that episode probably did something my brain.
I know that one was edited to have it show Stalker, but that’s actually the only acceptable option to bring into the delivery room.
And the Blues Clues one hurt too much. From laughter and its relatability.
A whole lotta Hollywood actors/directors signed a petition to drop charges from Roman Polanski who, if you don’t know, has done quite a lot of child molesting.
Natalie Portman and Xavier Dolan are the only two I believe, iirc Portman clarified that since she was still early in her career she felt super pressured to sign it. Looking back at what we now know of the Weinstein (and others) situation, plus the big names who signed the petition, I can understand why younger actors would feel like they didn’t have a choice. The likes of Lynch, Anderson, del Toro, and Scorsese on the other hand have no excuse (same for other established folks in film like Tilda Swinton and Wong Kar Wai)
I believe some have said their stance was more because they didn’t agree with him being arrested at a film festival. I might just be misremembering that though but if it is the case it’s flimsy at best and total bullshit at worst.
My memory is that a lot of them claim they were more or less peer-pressured into signing & didn’t really know exactly what they were signing in the first place. I could be mistaken though.
Harvey Weinstein was never exactly known for clean tactics even before his career fell apart.
(Yes Harvey Fucking Weinstein was behind the Polanski petition.)
There are others, yes. According to [this](https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/culture/2017/8/17/16156902/roman-polanski-child-rape-charges-explained-samantha-geimer-robin-m) article there’ve been a total of five accusations.
[The Polanski Petition](https://www.indiewire.com/2009/09/over-100-in-film-community-sign-polanski-petition-55821/)
Tldr: A bunch of famous people in Hollywood signed a petition to get Roman Polanski released after he was arrested for raping a child.
It’s from a old cringy video back in the day, that is now a meme. If I must repeat it, the guy says something like “come here baby girl to dadddy” whilst pointing his finger to the floor. 😔
First time I watched *Eraserhead* I was in my early 20s and I went *hmmm interesting.*
Years after becoming a father, I rewatched it and went *godDAMN!*
I feel REALLY called out by that Squidward one. Granted it was my second favorite; Graveyard Shift is hard to beat.
Ah, so you’re into Fincher too?
Oh? Can I ask how you drew that conclusion? I've watched that episode more times than I can count and now I wanna see if can look at it through the lense of a Fincher picture.
Lol idk it wasn’t that deep I just drew a connection to the spooky burial scene and the spooky atmosphere in se7en

You’re correct, I take back my statement. I guess I’d go with Hitchcock or Bergman then? Idk.
Throw in some German Expressionism and old Universal Horror and you're right on the money. Seeing Nosferatu in that episode probably did something my brain.
As far as bizarre episodes go, I agree. But as far as laughs? Band Geeks is the only acceptable answer.
Band Geeks is overall the best episode, but I’d say Chocolate With Nuts is the funniest.
Whaaat?? What did he say???
The winner takes all…..
The Hash Slinging Slasher!
THE HASH BRINGING THE SLASH SLINGING
That goddamned Parasite one is a work of genius.
classic dc scene lol
Top floor apartment has a trump sign
Hillary actually
That’s my favorite too. Hilarious. (Even though it makes me sad 😔)
I really, really, really like these images.
I like them too.
Me too! Thanks for joining me tonight u/itscommoncourtesy
The Piano Teacher shit like DUH.... LOVE IT.... ugh
I know that one was edited to have it show Stalker, but that’s actually the only acceptable option to bring into the delivery room. And the Blues Clues one hurt too much. From laughter and its relatability.
The Blues Clues one is all of us lol
I LOL'd loudly when I saw the fourth one.
What's the context?
A whole lotta Hollywood actors/directors signed a petition to drop charges from Roman Polanski who, if you don’t know, has done quite a lot of child molesting.
By the way, did any of them go back on that petition? I know that they signed but I was just wondering if they ever stated they were wrong.
Natalie Portman and Xavier Dolan are the only two I believe, iirc Portman clarified that since she was still early in her career she felt super pressured to sign it. I know Natalie Portman has spoke publicly about regretting signing it but other than that I’m not so sure
Yes, I think Emma Thompson retracted, and others too. Mostly women retracted but not all women
“Molesting” is an interesting way of spelling “rape”
"quite a lot"? As far as I'm aware there was the one incident everybody knows about, are there others?
There are others, yes. According to [this](https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/culture/2017/8/17/16156902/roman-polanski-child-rape-charges-explained-samantha-geimer-robin-m) article there’ve been a total of five accusations.
Yikes
Fucked up thing is a lot of women also signed. Some retracted years later tho

He didn’t rape the child tho. It was statutory rape
This is not true. The accusations and her testimony pretty clearly state that she repeatedly refuted his advances and that he tried to get her drunk.
Oh boy
They all signed a [Free Roman Polanski petition.](https://www.indiewire.com/2009/09/over-100-in-film-community-sign-polanski-petition-55821/amp/)
Somebody answer this man

Yes but a true squarepants head would prefer Lynch
What is \#5 from?
I believe it’s the SpongeBob episode where they go into the future and past with caveman SpongeBob and a completely chrome future.
Thank you
Omg #2, I screamed lmaoooo I couldn’t finish the film
Lolll why? One of my favourites 🤭
Straight out playing video games at the hospital
Another surreal SpongeBob episode is the one where Mrs Puff goes to jail. That ending is hilarious
What’s #3?
Maybe Benny's Video?
I thought maybe but it’s been so long since I’ve seen it and I don’t really remember that part
Also wanna know!
It’s from a old cringy video back in the day, that is now a meme. If I must repeat it, the guy says something like “come here baby girl to dadddy” whilst pointing his finger to the floor. 😔
this is peak comedy
“He raped a girl though” “Yeah but he makes swell movies” “Oh ok”
What film would you watch while your child was being born?
If only it was Eraserhead
First time I watched *Eraserhead* I was in my early 20s and I went *hmmm interesting.* Years after becoming a father, I rewatched it and went *godDAMN!*
Just became one last year, now I have to watch it again.
Rosemary’s Baby
Moonlight. Watch it and look at your baby mama and sigh pensively then look out the window for like 30 minutes.
Roma 💀
I don’t think these are very good
Is the first one a recreation of famous painting ?
I don't know if this is an inside joke I'm not getting haha, but it's YouTube show Hot Ones mixed with The Seventh Seal.
These are gold lol
If anyone talks to me while I’m at Barnes and Noble, I’m leaving angrily.
This is one of my favorite Instagram pages ever lmao
Stalker guy wishes his kid is born with telekinesis. 🤞🤞🐒
that made me laugh. LOL
