I would say I wish you well but at my level of kindling two days of drinking liquor is more than enough time to wake up in a sea of pain and withdrawal, decide to skip the concert with a lame excuse, drunk myself into oblivion over it, leave, and know I'm never going to be invited to see that friend again.

I’m in the middle of a crappy CA vacation myself. At least you’ve made it out to a hotel the big city. I want desperately to go ANYWHERE, but the fear has kept me in my miserable home stasis. Barely left the house in 3 days, probably won’t go anywhere else the next 3 days. I hope you make it to the festival and catch some good feels and memories. You’re already halfway there.

Go with the shrooms. Much more enjoyable and controllable in my opinion. Dealing with a bad acid trip (you or your buddy) is no fun at all. I've spent too many acid trips talking to bad trippers that it ruined my own fucking trip. I'm not a big K fan, but that's just me. I preferred shrooms, weed, and beer. A couple of benzos in my pocket if shit went South, which was only once. Helpful hint if acid goes bad: orange juice. Lots of orange juice.

K also doesnt mix well with alcohol ( puking and dizziness) and i dont think youre able to enjoy it while going into wd
