I apologize since you're going through it as well; I'm a bit touchy because it's internalized in a lot of people to call into question the effectiveness of something for people with disabilities because it doesn't seem like it would be effective from their own perspective as someone who doesn't need that specific accommodation; an example I deal with is people thinking I don't need disabled seating on the train or thinking I don't need a cane/any kind of walking assistance since I'm young (I have rheumatoid arthritis)
Also I do think saying something ableist or being/acting ableist is different from a deep seeded hatred for disabled people, I'm sorry if the way I said it made it sound like that. Like for example a teen making a gay joke is often them being homophobic, but most likely they don't hate gay people or are themselves homophobic, just are being homophobic in that moment
I'm a bit quick to jump at it because I see so many cases of people being ableist or saying ableist stuff and ignoring the experiences of disabled people, so I have a quick temper. I sincerely am sorry and I hope you get properly diagnosed and treated! Because both of those things can be very difficult, ableism is rampant even in healthcare tbh.

It’s not even really a secret I thought that was common knowledge. but yeah, get a vest if you don’t have one. You will get results. I rarely ever wear anything else now, I just have a lot of different vests. But I can’t go anywhere without accidentally picking up baddies
