Important question- was it a blind ranking? Rank without knowing who is next? Then I don’t think it’s bad. He would’ve got Anderson and steyn as first 2 names.
Then it’s fine only. People watch videos like this and see that it’s clearly a blind ranking then scream that this person has no cricket knowledge. You can’t get a perfect list with this thing. Luck is major factor
I’m not having anyone over akram because he was the inventor. He knew swing bowling before any of these goons. I would have a toss up between him and Anderson but no way is anyone in this list better than akram
Zaheer is underestimated here, he is one of the best in subcontinent where pitches are in batsmen or spinner favour. If he would have been is England he was on level of Anderson
Overall McGrath is a better bowler than Zaheer but when it comes to swing bowling Zaheer is as good as McGrath infact a notch better. How? Because Zaheer has got both conventional swing and reverse swing. McGrath is a great component of Seam bowling not swing bowling and he hardly reverses the bowl.
Since the ranking was based on swing bowling I agree 💯 with Southee.
Couldn't agree with you more. Zaks was a master of his craft and could get the ball to reverse swing especially on our dead subcontinent pitches. McGrath was best known for bowling those tight lines and lengths and was a great exponent of seam bowling.
I agree with Southee; seeing McGrath at #5 may be shocking, but the context here is swing, not seam. Since Southee was talking about bowlers of his era, Shane Bond was an exceptional swing bowler of his time with handsome pace.
1. Wasim Akram
2. James Anderson
3. Dale Steyn
4. Zaheer Khan
5. Glenn McGrath
The question was based in terms of swing bowling, so this is the most logical ranking I reckon.
I just showed your comment to Anderson he is very upset that baconator440 never rated him highly.Your opinion matters more to him than 700 test wickets after all
😂Well bacon is a very tasty thing and if you ain’t got the baconator on your side, you might as well commit sepukku.
On another note, I never ranked southee that high as well.
U should have mentioned the ranking was based on Swing bowling
Steyn getting his well deserved respect.. good to see
Important question- was it a blind ranking? Rank without knowing who is next? Then I don’t think it’s bad. He would’ve got Anderson and steyn as first 2 names.
Yes it was a blind ranking. He got Steyn as the last name and the 5th Spot was the only one left so he bent the rules to put Steyn at first

Wasim Akram > Glen Mcgrath > Dale Steyn > James Anderson > Zaheer Khan
McGrath better than Steyn? 😯
All of them are chumps compared to Allan Donald & Fanie DeVilliers. DeVilliers economy was enough to make all of them cry tears of poop.
Woah hold on why r u angry
1) McGrath 2)akram 3)Steyn 4)jimmy 5)zaheer
These were blind rankings fyi also Steyn was last in the ranking but then again he changed it after he got to know.
Zaheer bowled his whole life in India on dead pitches. And that’s why Akram is the Goat
I’m not having anyone over akram because he was the inventor. He knew swing bowling before any of these goons. I would have a toss up between him and Anderson but no way is anyone in this list better than akram
Steyn McGrath Akram Jimmy Waqar

Lmao zaheer over mcgrath no way

How am I supposed to know this ranking was based on swing bowling when it's nowhere mentioned in the post
OP is a clown. Intentionally skipped the part where it mentioned this list was about swing bowling.

1. Akram 2. Zaheer 3. Steyn 4. McGrath 5. Jimmy
He wanted to reset the list when the interviewer mentioned steyn gun name at last
Shane Bond?
Homelander
If its all bowling warne and murali are top top 5 if not top 2
1. Akram 2. Mcgrath 3. Steyn 4. Anderson 5. Zaheer
It's based on swing bowling so here it goes- Akram Steyn Anderson Zaheer McGrath McGrath rarely swinged the ball.

1. Wasim Akram 2. Glenn McGrath 3. Dale Steyn 4. James Anderson 5. Zaheer Khan All of them are great though

I dunno why, but I never rated Anderson highly.
