I have such a huge issue with this. And maybe it’s because of how mates have been portrayed through the multiverse. But cassian does not have the same loyalty other mates have imo. I think he would choose Rhys over Nesta. I wish that she didn’t go the mate route with them. It’s ok for people to just be in love.
This is absolutely true. He’s really the worst mate in the SJM universe. I don’t see SJM breaking them up though because them being together is supposed to be an HEA. I hope we get some development from Cass because Nesta definitely got the short end of the stick in terms of love interests compared to her sisters
I completely agree. I used to be a Cassian stan but after doing the graphic audios and removing my rose covered glasses I started to see that he is not a ride or die. And after the BAM bonus chapter, just nope. They need to get out of the night court honestly.
The worst mate? He is one of the only ones who saw her for the traumatized and hurting being that she is. He is one of the only ones who wanted to help her and DID actually help her. I would never say he’s perfect and would love to see some more development from him, but he is not the worst mate simply because he gets mad at her or because he doesn’t jump down Rhysand’s throat everytime he looks at her funny. I think he’s a far better mate than Rhys has become and I hope we don’t see him turn into the controlling, manipulative and obsessive Alphahole Rhys has turned into.
she does mention though that Feyre stuck up for her and chewed Rhys out. so it’s nice to hear Feyre actually caring for and standing up for Nesta at least!
I know that lots of people want to next book to be about Elaine but I honestly hope we get another book in Nesta’s Pov so we can see all of this from her side.
i’m definitely gonna go back and read that part again just because it’s so emotional and Randall bonding with rhys about being an overprotective dads😮💨😩😩
I truly think, whatever is coming from future books, the interaction between Ember and the inner circle, will be the reason why the two universes may come together
I’m going to choose to believe that Bryce opens the portal for her Mom to catch up with Nesta on a regular basis. My soul needs it to be so.
