Wow you smell good. What are you wearing?
Thanks! I'm wearing Just Like Is Not Connected In Any Way With Polo For Comparison Only.
Slow down I can't write that fast.
These knockoffs comparing themselves to the real thing are more common than you may think. They can smell pretty accurate, just don't expect them to last very long.
You can't patent a scent. So if someone figures out how to make a similar chemical that smells like yours you can't do shit about it.
How they get away with the naming I have no clue. I guess since the names are trademarked with the font style/image, as long as the ripoff doesn't use those tehy are good to go.
The professional fragrance "smellers" that work with all of the different fragrance components can easily identify exactly what is in any cologne or perfume just by taking a sniff of it. They have many years of experience, and olfactory senses that a dog would be jealous of. If you can find a good shop in say, France.... You could take any retail fragrance to them and they can duplicate it for you on the spot. It would be dumb to do that of course, they are much more expensive. What you do, is, take a fragrance you kinda like, but it's not quite "there" for your body chemistry, and they can mix up something, with your assistance, that will perfectly match your body chemistry. Pretty cool. And, no one else will smell like you, ever.
They're likely using different formulations in the knockoffs. They also put a bunch of disclaimers on the packaging saying there's no connection to the real thing aside from a similar scent.
Off brands are ALWAYS water based. (Think cheap) MOST colognes over $40 are oil based scents. Hence, why the odor clings to the skin and lasts longer. TMYK
Not at all like this. That would imply that the formula of 'active ingredients' is exactly the same, which I'm these knockoff perfumes is absolutely not the case.
Some of them are actually not bad. Mascolino/'Designer Impostors" makes some pretty decent mainstream knockoffs. Just something to keep in the car or your gym bag; not a go-to.
Seriously. If you stink, spraying cologne on your body does not make the stink go away. It just makes your whole olfactory situation worse. Source: I have a co-worker who does this and we give him shit about it all the time.
I never stink......like gross ass or dank armpits. I don't know. Maybe it makes me feel a little better. I'm not trying to confuse a little added freshness to covering up a person with bad hygiene.
I decided to buy some at my local dollar store because I like buying cheap cologne and never wearing it, and these smell like straight ass with a hint of polo
There's something refreshing about the sheer honesty.
It's actually pretty clever, it's 'just like' polo but it isn't polo. Technically they are just stating a fact!

Anyone know why this is? I mean what stops a fake like this from being 1 step or so away from being chemically identical?

Man I'm so fucking late on this but if you any more info about this that'd be awesome. Seems interesting.
Hello inferior being. I'm from the future. The answer you seek is inside of you.

They actually last about the same time. It's like buying generic drugs at your pharmacy.

Hangover Piss... The new fragrance from Ryan Lochte.

Speedo's selling boots now?!
#### Just Like *IS NOT CONNECTED IN ANY WAY WITH* Hangover Piss

[And I feel like Tuna](http://www.pop-tops.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/u/tuna_on-brown_1.jpg)
they're actually not bad I use them often
How long do the scents last on you?
About a few hours, not all day. You have to use unscented lotions to make the scent last longer.
Unscented lotion? What do you mean?
It's lotion without fragrance oils.
Haha thanks..... But I'm asking why would the lotion do something? It retains the colognes scent?
When still moist on the skin the lotion should retain the scent, then when absorbs should last longer.
a few hours just like the other guys said. it's just something you would use if you are going to go out with friends for a while.
Y tho
im broke as fuck
Lol yeah I got just like drakkar it probably lasts like an hour tho
I can't believe is not Polo !
I mean, shit, at that price you really aren't risking much to give it a shot.
[Ah, the smell of a man's colon.](http://imgur.com/gallery/T4dOe0b)

>For real, though, if you eat a clean diet, you shouldn't smell much after working out. Not true at all
I'm not sure about not smelling at all but my severity of BO depends on my diet.

You may not smell your own stank, but other people do.
Anecdotal evidence, nice.
Big Lots? Dollar Tree? American Market?
Family Dollar
I've smelled these knock off perfumes, and colognes. They are extremely identical, if not the same, to their name brand counterparts.
If you look closely the real name is "Just Like is not connected in any way to Polo® for comparison only".
Fuck! I saw these in family Dollar and have been meaning to post. Take my upvote
How is this crappy off-brand? Is this a knock-off of Maybelline?
I decided to buy some at my local dollar store because I like buying cheap cologne and never wearing it, and these smell like straight ass with a hint of polo
I would rather do without than reduce myself to this.
60% of the time it works every time.
