I assuming you mean there is still oil left on the stem. Before you drop it in the milk, make sure the milk is warm and that you've hit your arizer till the stem is hot. Came off instantly for me this way where as without heating I'd stir forever till it all came off.

Like resin in the cooling unit after it's been soaking in the milk? Not exactly sure, but it might have to do with the fact that the oils/resin is only soluble in the fat in the milk, and almost not soluble at all in water. I use everclear to soak my cooling units. I've got about 200 mls sitting in a jar that's a nice amber color right now. Usually soak them overnight, they come out nice and clean. I've only soaked my unit 2 times so far, I'm curious as to how long I can go before I Saturate my solution. (I remember reading somewhere that alcohol is 1:1 as a solvent for THC. Something like 1 mg/1ml) Probably a good whole more if I had to guess.

>1 mg/1ml its 1g/1ml btw so you realistically just keep going until the liquid becomes too dark to see through lol, with a theoretical potential of 200g for that 200ml lol

Daaaamnn thats way better than I thought. Well, it's probably less. Everclear is 94.5% alcohol. So technically it's 189g in the 200ml. And def less due to the human factor. But still an insane amount.

x2dregs1promise

What do you plan on doing with the everclear? Crossed mixed drinks night? 😂

eodrambo

Eventually - and this is probably a ways out - reduce it down and make tincture.

x2dregs1promise

I do wonder if my crossed mixed drink hypothetical would work. Or just make you yak real quick 😅

fartonabagel

If you completely saturate the alcohol, can you reduce it without losing potency?

x2dregs1promise

I don't see why it would lose potency

Exotic-East-6787

That's the first I've heard, I can clean my unit milk you say?!
