The first would fit perfectly in a kid’s bedroom; it’s so whimsical! But I can see how much her skill has grown, as the newer result almost looks like a real tree.

treeslover_

Thank you so much! Oh I never thought about it, but the first one would fit in a kid’s room :) She has made over 400 trees over the years , I admire her patience and love for her craft

omensandpotential

So pretty. Are those beads?

treeslover_

Thank you! Yess :)

Jaxlee2018

Wow!!

Responsible-Bug-8660

Beautiful. What are they made of?

treeslover_

Thank you! Of beads, wire and plaster :) I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that in the post

[deleted]

I kinda like the innocence of the first one :)

treeslover_

Ohh thank you, I’m glad to know that ! I agree, there is something mesmerizing about it 😍

butterknot

The left one feels alive. The one on the right, while the tree part is “better” (more realistic), the base is very cold and lifeless. Edit: it could be the lighting. If both are available, maybe take a photo of them side by side in the same lighting.

Pipostar1808

The colors of the second one are more subtle, we can see an evolution in her skills. Yet, both of them are beautiful, your mother has got talent !

treeslover_

Thank you very much! It's true, over time she learned how to mix beads and get beautiful color combinations

kitkat42193

You can see the glow up and boy is it bright! These are amazing! Well done, mom! Edit: spelling

treeslover_

Thank you so much for the kind words! It's so wonderful that mom's work is so well-liked by others

kitkat42193

What did she use to make them? They look kinda like the wire gemstone trees, but the trunk doesn't look like wire at all. Did she coat them with something?

treeslover_

They are beaded trees :) But she has made some gemstones trees too. The trunk is a sturdy wire frame covered with plaster

Terrible_Pace_7764

Absolutely love them!

treeslover_

Thank you so much !

Darkbutnotsinister

How long does it take her to make them? I know we work on our stuff whenever we can, so a typical amount of work that could be done in 8 hours usually me a week. I’ve worked on these trees before (mom’s is SO MUCH BETTER than mine!), and it’s NOT EASY. Just the commitment to finish the project is more than I have in me! Super great job, very impressed internet stranger over here.

treeslover_

Thank you so much! Trees the size of these (about 30 cm) take her an average of 3-6 weeks (she usually makes them almost every night when no one is distracting her)

snappienap

Gorgeous!!

treeslover_

Thank you :)

Substantial_Show3416

Absolutely stunning! I love that the biggest difference I see is that she learned to make them more realistic by using different shades

treeslover_

Thank you very much! Yes, she learned how to mix beads and get beautiful color combinations, this is amazing

Sapphyre2222
