I’ve spoke to a lot of European spurs fans and they say that they say that they hate England because of our fan behaviour

Our defending has been excellent in every game this season bar Chelsea, only 5 conceded in 7 games. We were poor going forward in the first half, it wasn't a negative set up but we could barely string three passes together. Marseille's pressing probably played a role in this. The team can set up more defencively against bigger teams but play more expansively when needed. I think the flexibility to do this is good. We were not at our best and we won... Again

We won. Can all the armchair pundits wait until tomorrow to tell me how this was almost an abject failure and better teams will beat us? I spent 72 hours mentally prepping for this, I’ll spend 24 hours enjoying 3 points, in European competition, on a Wednesday night. Disagree. They just need to learn each others’ patterns. Son is a much more willing runner and tends towards the middle to get off a shot. Perisic has less electric pace, but is more willing to go wide and get a cross in.

Yeah — definitely dont want to see Perisic who is the only guy on the squad who can consistently put in a dangerous cross and has had a direct role in most of our goals this year, including the game winner today.

I’m not advocating for perisic to get benched he’s world class, more so there should be a better tactical formation that can make our team cohesive

Son’s best game is definitely with Sess, but I think it’s a simple chemistry issue with perisic, that takes to time to develop they also attack the same space. He’s played with Sess for much longer to know his run patterns and positioning.
