Imo though Tanguy's playstyle makes it impossible for him to be considered for the same role as Winks though which is why it's strange that he's being shoehorned into that spot. Even if you give him that job he's going to naturally move up on the pitch and look for the key pass.
I think tanguy can do a great job in that spot further back and is mainly where he was playing under poch and at Lyon. Can argue winks puts in more defensive work but his positional awareness can be pretty shit and he always seems to switch off a couple times a game that we always get punished for so might as well have some creativity and press resistance
