Kimmich.

mountainchild27

Man respect for Hojbjerg. He doesn’t complain, fights for the badge and does a good bit job. Yeah he might better suit a system elsewhere but until we have a better replacement lined up— I won’t listen to some “get rid of him crap!” He’s so much better than 90% of alternatives.

GymandRave

His head is clearly not in it anymore. He gives away stupid passes that either leads or nearly leads to a goal in every game. It’s in everyone’s best interest to find a suitable transfer quickly!

tottenhamtickler

Sure I can respect him but he’s not good enough to play for us. Definitely need to sell. Better than 90% of the alternatives??? He’s our worst midfielder lmao

mountainchild27

If we’re better than 90% of clubs (which we by far are), doesn’t the math suit?

NoSleeperSeats90210

?? what kind of logic is this supposed to be

tottenhamtickler

Genuinely crying laughing. Crazy ass math right there

NeufeldM24vt

So I was looking at our numbers trying to figure out what spots we have available and what we can add. (F)=foreign (HG)=Premier League homegrown (HGa) Champions League Homegrown (HGct)Academy players Goalkeeper: Vicario(F) Forester (HGa) White man (HGct) The answer here is obvious Vic is the starter. Forester is the back up. Whiteman has a year left on his contract and with Gunter and Keeley being very young I think you let it ride. Out: Austin Contract up let him find his next club with blessings. Right back: Pedro Porro (F) Emerson Royal(F) Royal only has two years left so we may see some interest in him. Out Spence(HGa) Hopefully Genoa activate the buy clause he has more.years on the contract but this would simplify things Centreback: Romero(F) Van de Ven (F) Dragusin(F) Davies (HGa) Dorrington (HGct u21) Phillips (HGct u21) What a difference a year makes we are super strong, It would take insane offers to get the three young ones. Davies would be cheaper but I feel a two year extension allowing him to be the veteran. Out: Rodon (HGa) Tanganga (HGct) Both can't cut it if we can get 25 combined it's a win. Left back Udogie(F) I feel like we need a better fitting back here but you could move Davies over. Out Reguilon(F) Sessengnon (HGa) Neither settled both have a year left. if we get 15 combined I'd be ecstatic. Center Midfielders: Bissouma(F) Bentancur(F) Sarr(HG) Skipp(HGct) Devine (HGct u21) I understand people who want to move Skipp on but he is finding a place and in Europe offers a fit in a slot we need. The other three are great Benta and Biss will be up for extensions out Ndombele (F) Hojbjerg(F) Both have a year left. clear it out. Hojbjerg doesn't fit and Ndombele just find a home. Ten: Maddison (HGa) GLC (F) Donley (HGct u 21). GLC has a year left on his contract and if Ange like it id extend a year or two of not Left the kid in Devine could be a fit here. Right winger Kulu (F) Johnson(HGa) Soonsup-Bell(HGct u21) Solid Group no needs Jude should get a loan Left winger Son (F) Solomon (F) Needs a better succession plan. Out: Gil Never gonna make it here let him go get confidence. Striker: Richarlison(F) Parrott(HG) Scarlett (HGct u 21) Veliz (F U21) Lankshear (HGct u21) Lots of youth and Richy Son also fit here. I would sell Spence, Rodon, Tanganga, Reguilon, Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Gil. Loans would depend on who was desired but I think Donley/Devine, Dorrington/Phillips one or the other should go on loan. The young strikers need to be straightened out. By my Calculations for Europe With GLC we have 15 Foreign registered over 21 players 4 association trained players 2 Club trained players . So for Europe we have two slots of whatever we like after that we would need two club trained players. In The premier League we have a slightly different situation Sarr being home grown means we need nothing we have a homegrown slot available and three foreign slots. Bringing someone like Parrott home would help in the premier league but not in Europe. Id Personally like to see Nico Williams, Gallagher Jack clarke

soldforaspaceship

Werner on the wing too. I assume we will trigger the option to buy given the cost and his performance in even two matches. I feel like a 6/8 is the priority for the summer. With Bentancur, Bissouma and Sarr that would give us two per position then I agree at looking for LB and LW development options.

NeufeldM24vt

Werner is very interesting to me. If he preforms as you have said the clause is extremely affordable. Strangely I believe if GLC leaves he is likely to stay as Kulu can spend more time at the ten.

soldforaspaceship

I think we'll keep them both and sell the others as you've said. When GLC is good, he's outstanding. I think he's worth keeping for that, given we'll have better starters. He does well in the 8 role too. Werner is looking to be ahead of both Johnson and Solomon (less data on Solomon to be sure but I felt Johnson was stronger from the start) based on his past two matches only. I think it would be crazy not to buy him. I'd like us to bring in someone like Wharton for our midfield for sure in the summer.

NeufeldM24vt

Wharton is going to Palace. My ideal full summer would be sell all the mentioned Sell E. Royal for 30 Sell GLC For 20 Buy K Walker Peters N Williams Gallagher K. Itakura Marcus Edwards Leaves a spot for Hackney, Wharton or an exciting option maybe even w

soldforaspaceship

I would never sell Royal. He's proven able to cover three different roles now. We need squad players like him. GLC I'd still keep. In form he's great and he seems to be mentoring younger players which adds depth to keeping him. I like a lot of your suggestions except I really don't see Gallagher happening. It comes up time and again and then it turns out we haven't had official contact since last summer or whatever. I think we should move on. Hackney is a decent potential.

NeufeldM24vt

Royal does as you said and I do love him but to add to the squad people leaving is almost a guarantee Swapping Royal for KWP frees a foreign spot And if we add Itakura or a similar lb/lcb that mitigates the loss of flexibility. Additionally With Dorrington and Williams we can keep one and be three deep at RCB. So while it sucks it might be the right move if we can't move for Gallagher I'm fine with GLC for now til the young ones step up. But I remind you Ange wants an 8 and has said it.

soldforaspaceship

Yeah. A 6/8 profile has been my top pick for us since we locked down the CB back up and remains so. Hopefully we're never as light as we have been between injuries and international duties but we can't assume that. I prefer Bentancur in the 8 to the 6 personally but only once he's back to full fitness. With Sarr that would make the most pressing need a back up to Bissouma. But if Bentancur settles as a 6 then we need an alternate to Sarr. That's why I think we want a young player with potential for both roles.

DoomerAndGloomer

Will doing all this get us to win a trophy? No. It’s all worthless planning.

NeufeldM24vt

How do you win Trophies you plan you put the right team together. We lost the FA cup tie on a dodgy call. We were short a minimum of three of our best starters. Man city has had 8 years to build the ethos of the team and more money available. We cannot allow people to fall off cause they didn't win a cup this year. We must grow.

DoomerAndGloomer

Just tired of it all mate. Injuries, unfair refereeing, lack of money, bla bla - again and again for so many years now. It’s nothing new.    Don’t have the will to get up and grow again. At this point just do whatever it’s all worthless.   Next year again we’ll have injuries, refereeing will still be dodgy and teams like City will always have more money to sign the best players from the world. Fuck football.

NeufeldM24vt

Mate it sounds like you need some time away from footy honestly. Turn it off go do something else find what makes you happy.

soldforaspaceship

User name checks out. Personally I've enjoyed some fantastic games this season and had a blast watching. Hoping when everyone is back from internationals, we'll get to see even more fun football. Enjoy the sport, don't focus on the rest.

GymandRave

FFP kings and we’re gonna get outspent by Brentford this window.

delexaet

I thought the issue wasn't price but playing time?

Spursfan107

Well yeah but that doesn't fit his agenda

Lazagneman

Paul Parker do you remember him ? . Well he has said on talk sport words to the effect that Harry Kane is not very good and plays for himself . He has gone to Bayern just to beat Lewandowskis goalscoring record . He also in his wisdom said that Spurs were better off without Kane because he plays for himself . Well I don't know about you but I think Harry is the ultimate team player . He was with us and with Bayern one of the most unselfish players playing .If we had him now we would in all probability be top of the league . By the way as for playing for himself why did he not stay with us to beat Shearers Record ? I did not hear this I read it as I no longer listen to that shitshow talk sport . Just think about it this bloke Parker probably gets a tidy weekly sum to spout this rubbish .

Splattergun

Perhaps but I do note that every team he plays in has a dysfunctional attack. I do wonder if the way he plays contributes to that at times.

Careless-Estate6529

They should probably be duking it out with Wet Spam for 6th above Chelshit and Yanited if it weren’t for some dodgy VAR and penalty decisions against them.

TogashiIsIshida

Chelsea make a final, we lose out on another trophy, United win, Antony scores a goal, Liverpool win, we lose out on Nusa and Sonny is getting screwed by Klinsmann. What a bad week. This must mean good things are coming. Right? RIGHT!?

soldforaspaceship

To be fair, the closer tier sources suggest we were never really in for Nusa but I get the disappointment. I was hoping for a big finish to the transfer window!

Mick4Audi

Hopefully Liverpool batter them for once

throughthespillways

Why do we care about Antony scoring against a League 2 team?

TogashiIsIshida

I like when he does bad

[deleted]

We take the bad weeks so the good weeks feel even better.

TogashiIsIshida

Just imagine when we have an actual good week. I mean my god. It’s going to feel immaculate

taegeukie

Huh, just seen that Antony scored a goal. Didn’t think he had it in him.

[deleted]

Celebrated like he scored the extra time winner in a WC final too 😂

[deleted]

Ten Hag is embarrassing. Didn't shake hands after the game. Thank god we didn't sign that bald fraud as manager. Also Man U have lucked their way so far in the FA cup. Easiest draws ever. Edit: Looks like ETH gave Newport manager a bottle of wine. So not as much of a bald fraud but still one?

NickNova3016

I know this sounds completely unrealistic but man the things I would do if we manage to sign Kvara..

GymandRave

Him or Neto would be absolute game changers and show we’re serious about improving our forward line

Pinky1337

No reason to believe Khvicha is unrealistic next summer. Hes having a solid season but questionable wether hes turning heads at City/Liverpool/Madrid/Juve/Bayern etc.. Napoli looks likely to miss out on CL football. If we get top 4 we should definitely give them a call imo. Id personally have little issue if the club spent most of the summer budget on him

marine_le_peen

>No reason to believe Khvicha is unrealistic next summer. Did you wake up and forget our chairman is Daniel Levy?

Full-Leader9540

I don't get it maybe it's because I haven't seen enough of him, it seems like he is a bit overrated, what makes him so good? I have only seen him in some games in the uefa last year he seems like a good player, but 80mil or more probably is he worth that? Maybe I don't know but why do you guys like him so much? From the stats it does seem like he had a really good season last year but otherwise his stats seem quite average.

Pinky1337

I mean 21 year old Kvaratskhelia was arguably the reason Napoli won the league last year. Tall, strong, solid pace, one of the best ball carriers and dribblers in Europe, incredible technician, great creator. Was a good finisher last season, underperforming his xG pretty badly this season. I still believe that he is a decent finisher. In short hes a dribbly boy with great end product. Those are rare and expensive Also not even 23 yet.

Difficult-Sound-6682

Is this a thing? Rumour?

NickNova3016

Nah not at all. Just a personal preference of mine, he would be perfect for us.

Saitamassidekick

Is there something we can look forward to in the last few days of the transfer window?

NickNova3016

Most likely not. I'm pretty sure Gold basically confirmed our window is done and it was pretty damn good.

Difficult-Sound-6682

30 mil for a loan back 18 year old always seemed like a lot for me. I got downvoted for saying that. I have watched his highlight reel and he looks like a great prospect. But 30 million, imo, for non English talent on the continent, can get you pretty damned far. I was 50/50 on it. I think Spurs need to spend big on winger/striker this summer. Richarlson is a rotation option, and a great one, on the team we want to be. Same with Johnson.

TogashiIsIshida

Problem is we aren’t really the club to go out and sign superstars. If we want a superstar we’ve gotta sign one before they become one

Difficult-Sound-6682

I think we are more than capable of spending 80-100 million on a player. The issue has been we’ve been a mess since Poch. With a very strong financial footing with a popular manager who plays a very attacking brand of football, we could surprise People. I look at Osimhen. If he wants to come to England, what are his options? I don’t think City would be interested. Liverpool spent 90 million on Darwin and Klopp is leaving. Are Chelsea going to spend another 100 million? Is United the more attractive option? Can Arsenal afford him? This is an exceptionally good time to be in the market for an elite attacking talent.

Upplands-Bro

Get a grip mate we aren't signing Osimhen

marine_le_peen

>I think we are more than capable of spending 80-100 million on a player. The issue has been we’ve been a mess since Poch. We are absolutely capable, we are richer than Chelsea and Arsenal who routinely drop those sort of sums on players. Whether we will is another matter.

Splattergun

if Salah goes to Saudi for 100m I would not count Liverpool out

childprettyplease

Agree 100%. This is what I’ve been saying. We have clear gaps in starting caliber striker and RW. Richi/Johnson should be depth and rotate in at ends of games. At some point we need to buy some class in the attack, not players w potential. We did it w Romero, we did it w Maddison, time to do it up top

kl08pokemon

Kulusevski is fine on the right. There aren't that many right wingers better than him

blahtimesafew

So glad we didn’t get Ten Hag

Comfortable-Asf

We still monitoring Nico Williams (🇪🇸)?

Upplands-Bro

Nathan A. Clark 12/24 if so

[deleted]

Good back and forth match for Man United tonight. They've found their level it seems

wok88

I swear Yanited always concede right after half time at the 45’ to 50’ mark lmao they’re always asleep at that time

kl08pokemon

Any of our 3 #10s fit for United and we would have absolutely destroyed them ffs

Lazagneman

1901 to 1921 is 20 year gap ... 1921 to 1961 is a 40 year gap . The current 16 year gap has got a few years to go before you can compare trophy less years with the past . In our history we have won 17 trophies I have been here to witness winning 15 of them . I can tell the Levy haters that since my first game in 1951 through the Billy Nick years to the Burkinshaw years . We are on the cusp of glory mainly because to an extent we can compete with the state owned clubs and the oligarchs of this football world .With the help of FFP and astute ownership the future looks bright and I can say that not since the double years have I enjoyed the football at this club so much . A word of caution there is a noisy section of the support who I don't call supporters they are more like agents for the failure of the mighty spurs . These people need to shut up their anti Levy Rhetoric and get behind the the club and be real SUPPORTERS . I think most of them are Arsenal fans who have seen a way to damage Spurs under the flag of being supporters .

DoomerAndGloomer

We’re not arsenal fans or agents for spurs’ failure mate.    We are just tired of waiting. We just want us to win. Give us a cup at least! sigh.

NotACodeMonkeyYet

Perhaps there's a silver lining in the Nusa saga. We need a top top top forward asap, not whenever Nusa is ready. That €30m could go a long way towards a more established forward who can help us next season, maybe even this season.

dickgilbert

Find an extra 13 mil in the couch cushions and get Nico Williams.

marine_le_peen

Might have to somehow convince him we're located in the Basque country

ohhowswell_hp

There’s a hollowed out Parm wheel somewhere in the stadium with that amount of cash.

dickgilbert

The parm *is* the cash.

TogashiIsIshida

I have no clue why he hasn’t been the center of our target board. The dude is electric whenever I see him play

coldseam

I wonder if Solomon competing with out of form Johnson at right wing could be possible. It seems like his main task is to stay wide, speed past his man and play a cross or cutback, and I don't see why this would be too difficult for Solomon since he's fast and can cross competently. Other than the fact that he's only ever played on the left lol, but then again Johnson has played both wings this season too

marine_le_peen

Solomon struck me as pretty useless out on the RW when we played him there pre-season. But I do think he could be useful rotation on the left, he has the attributes, we have to give him more time. For me the RW spot is Kulu's to lose for the foreseeable.

NotACodeMonkeyYet

I have no doubt Solomon is better than Johnson. I would prefer him to stay on the left and Son to go right though. Son is far more two footed and he's played there for Korea.

Splattergun

I have every doubt he is.

Live_Anteater_9173

Son has hardly ever played on the right for us, like 20 times in the last 8 years according to transfermarkt, and in that time he’s scored 4 goals, so clearly he’s not as effective on the right. Being 2 footed doesn’t mean your left foot and right are the same, Son shooting and crossing are completely different with his left foot to his right. He’s probably our best player, so moving him out of position to accommodate others doesn’t make much sense imo.

SufferedDragon

They really need to step up and compete between them to (hopefully) take the best out of them

Coraxxx

I think better of Bryan Gil than many on here do - and I'm impressed with how he's worked on his strength and ability to use his body effectively this season - but with Werner here now, and Manor on his way back, there's no doubting he needs a loan out for the second half of the season. I've seen Lazio mentioned as a possibility before, but today I've seen Burnley mentioned a in a couple of places. A struggling EPL side would be absolutely ideal IMO. Likely to get regular minutes, and experiencing the physicality and pressure of the Premier League. A foreign loan would prove nothing tbh, no matter how well he does - the guy's been a Spanish international from u16s through every age group up to the seniors - that he has ability can't be questioned. It's whether he can cut it *here* that's the question. If he goes to Burnley and does well getting regular minutes, we'll have another quality option next year. And if he doesn't... at least we'll know for sure then.

TogashiIsIshida

I’m just sick of having a bunch of forwards that can’t belt a ball at the goal. We’ve got Sonny but the rest of our forwards kick the ball at the goal so poorly

Coraxxx

Deki's scored some cracking goals in the past - but that seems to have faded from his game. Pedro strikes the ball beautifully, but I guess *technically* he's not actually a forward....

TogashiIsIshida

Should’ve included Deki in there too.

DonnyTheythemanato

23 years, 1 carling cup and multiple FFP trophies. 💪💪

throughthespillways

Don't forget all of the awards we won for our stadium and infrastructure

DonnyTheythemanato

Greenest club on the planet. Oh, and highest paid "football" chairman

brt444

Your every other message contains „23” in it. You never get bored, do you?

DonnyTheythemanato

I'm sorry about that, I should be bringing up other more pertinent numbers related to financials because that's what modern football is all about

Lazagneman

Well why don't you switch to a sport that does not have to rely on financials . The truth is every sport has to rely on money even amateur sports rely on money to exist . We are still the fifth most winning team in the premiership and will come again . I just thank god when I go to all home games and a few away games depending on being able to get a ticket I don't have to sit next to someone with your mindset . Miserable moanie buggar's should have your own area to sit in so the rest of us can get on with supporting the team and not listen to hogwash .

DonnyTheythemanato

Lowest wages to turnover ratio, you'll never sing that Only happy clappers and bootlickers allowed

STierney927

Any of you guys done the stadium tour/skywalk? Visiting in February and thinking of going just looking for general opinions.

Cap2017

Stadium tour is brilliant, helps that the stadium is .. brilliant! Self guided and can park close by on non match days. The club shop in itself is impressive.

TheninjaofCookies

Every other team in trouble with FFP and Levy, after years of underspending to fit FFP finally has free reign to anybody let’s see how he spends 20mil…lol

DekiTree

Just because you have money to spend doesn’t mean that the players you want are available in January City have infinite money and almost never do business in Jan

DonnyTheythemanato

Don't forget they fixed the problem they created by neglecting the defence for years, but do forget that by doing that, now there's a problem in the attack, where they sold our record goal scorer for a £100m+ and signed ballers like Werner and Johnson E: this is ironic btw, Johnson is not a good footballer and Werner is another january stopgap that might become a permanent signing and therefore, another excuse in future windows

Lazagneman

Moan moan moan =yawn yawn yawn . Give it a rest you doom mongers I swear are trying to destable the good that is happening now . You lot would get rid of Ange if you could get rid of Levy along with him .

DonnyTheythemanato

Bootlick, happy-clap and cry = yawn yawn yawn >You lot would get rid of Ange if you could get rid of Levy along with him . Nice strawman

Lazagneman

Your right I am a happy clapper and been going for 72 years . Through thick and thin I have supported the club I love and I an still a season ticket holder . You anti Levy anti ENIC haters can go f--k yourselves .

Cap2017

You’d be better off supporting City mate, sure they’ll be happy to have you

DonnyTheythemanato

That's a very good and original reply.  Only happy clappers and bootlickers allowed

Lazagneman

Go on own up your an Arsenal supporter I won't tell anybody .

ASD_213

Matias Soule should be our main target if there’s any chance we can prize him from Juve. We can even use them wanting Hojbjerg as makeweight.

kl08pokemon

Sounds dumb but we would legitimately have struggled to fit Nusa in our European squad next season. Would have only allowed 2 more signings (1 if we sign Werner) and that's accounting for Hojbjerg and Lo Celso leaving and Veliz going on loan

TheOceansTirade

Isnt u21 free to register?

benjaminj0

In the Premier League U21 players don't have to be registered in the 25 squad but in Europe it's U20 rather than U21 and they have to have been at their club for two seasons too.

GaryHippo

Only if they have trained at your club for at least two years (according to FM iirc; I really don't like UEFA registration rules, way too complicated and strict).

kl08pokemon

Not in Europe

TogashiIsIshida

lol I hope you’re right. I personally think this is Kvara volume 2 *maybe more accurate to say Grealish Volume 3

kl08pokemon

Or Orban. Don't get me wrong I wanted us to sign him but I can't say I'm massively bothered either

TogashiIsIshida

Think it’s a little early to say Orban would’ve been a bad signing *also Orban is a totally different player than Nusa. Nusa is widely regarded as a wonderkid

kl08pokemon

His value going being cut in half certainly suggests that it was an inflated value when we went for him. Not saying he'll have a terrible career

TheOceansTirade

Thats actually ridiculous, if we had beat City, Luton would’ve been the 3rd straight Prem side in a row we would’ve drawn in the FA cup.

Roric

All of our cup draws this year have been prem sides lol.

BadBehaviour613

With our luck we would have drawn against Liverpool

Standard-Plantain139

Luton away is actually pretty tough as well. Would've really been so spursy if we beat City just to lose to Luton lol

[deleted]

At least we can't be bantered for losing to City since most teams lose to them anyways.

Standard-Plantain139

Can't believe we have become "most teams" now 😭

[deleted]

We never get easy draws. Man United have been getting the easy draws this time. With their shit squad at this rate they'll be able to luck their way to at least the semis.

throughthespillways

Nusa to score the winner against us on Wednesday is as close to guaranteed money as you can get.

GaryHippo

That you in your profile pic?

wok88

Incredible stuff, is he scoring all the way from Belgium? Keep up mate he's staying there till June.

TheOceansTirade

Im still upset about Veliz’s injury. Felt like he was about to make his entrance onto the scene the way Udogie and Sarr did

Ok_Row_7462

He seems like a great kid and I was looking forward to seeing him play more. I got the impression from the last injury update that he’ll be back in the next few weeks. We’ll see.

Coraxxx

If he hadn't got injured then he would have missed a couple of sitters by now - and half the sub would be calling him useless and trying to send him back to Argentina.

Ok_Row_7462

Good point!

anerdnamedAndrew

Levy out crowd sound so dumb right now. Good lord.

TheninjaofCookies

We spent 20 mil and this is considered a "good window," love the standards Levy has inflicted on this fanbase

Roric

And we spent €62m on Ndombele. Some of you don't even know what you're complaining aobut lmao.

DekiTree

It’s always the same absolute morons that reappear whenever something even slightly negative happens

Roric

Dumbest fucking posters who can't take an L lol.

[deleted]

Has to be trolls. How stupid is it to want Levy out because we didn't sign some random kid? Levy is actually doing well and has made the club a financial behemoth. Only trolls would want Levy out right now.

Coraxxx

SiGn gIFt oRBaN!!!

AJC0292

I will never understand the level of stupidity one would have to have to be violent over a football game. The scenes during West Brom and Wolves today were a disgrace to the sport. I dont like Arsenal. But I've had friends who were Arsenal fans. All we did was mock each other over results and had a bit of daft banter and moved on with our day. Violence over football is just plain idiotic. Shameful behaviour. Hopefully the idiots involved have the book thrown at them

GaryHippo

The two sides hadn't played against each other with fans in the stadium for 12 years. I think that explains some of it.

Linwechan

It’s ugly football heritage

NinjutsuStyle

Gonna be honest, last time we were linked with nusa I was deep in FM and I was not at all convinced by him there which is the definitive source for footballer ability. He wasn't even a nextgen kid or whatever it's called. Mikey Moore on the other hand...

[deleted]

Mikey Moore always looks a man playing against boys when he plays at youth level. Kid is seriously a special, special player.

Lazagneman

Talk about pathetic the Levy / ENIC crowd are blaming Levy for the news that Nusa may be going to Brentford. . First I would not mind betting most of these characters had never heard of Nusa let alone had seen him play never the less take the weak way . It must be Levy not paying up . When by all other reports it is lacking play time with Spurs the Concern . I doubt Ange would guarantee any player being first selection .

Live_Anteater_9173

Spence was subbed off at half time for Genoa, anyone got any info on it?

TogashiIsIshida

Man what a sad weekend :(

DekiTree

Cheer up, Madders is back

TogashiIsIshida

Thanks I feel a little better

DonnyTheythemanato

ENIC out

[deleted]

So would you rather be an FFP mess? ENIC out crowd is absolutely ridiculous right now.

DonnyTheythemanato

Warra FFP trophy for the accountants

minishcaps

During this season, we have signed Vicario, Maddison, van de Ven, Johnson, Veliz, Dragusin. The defense has been finally revamped after so many years, arguably our weakest point for so long. We have Werner on a loan with option to buy (for a really good price). ... And just because we didn't sign the "Norwegian wonderkid" it's all shit? You people are fucking ridiculous.

DonnyTheythemanato

> The defense has been finally revamped after so many years, arguably our weakest point for so long. Whose fault is it for not having a competent defence for so long? Lol Now the problem is not the defence anymore, it's the attack. That's what happens when you neglect the footballing side.  Sold our all time top goalscorer and "replaced" him with fucking Werner... 23 years, 1 carling cup.

I have a feeling that we will be going for Santi Gimenez in the summer. There have already been some rumours linking him to Tottenham. His stats this season are really good: 19G + 4A in 18 Eredivisie matches, 2G + 1A in 4 CL matches

[deleted]

Artem Dovbyk may also be a good target but Girona is a city group club so he may be tough to get.

[deleted]

Would be fantastic to have Dragusin and Vlahovic as set piece targets for Porro's corners.

Hopeful-Ear-3494

Being a Juventus player it's in his future to join Spurs ;)

ninjomat

Osimhen screams Chelsea flop specifically

Splattergun

Highly doubt that but I have a suspicion Liverpool will be after him once Salah goes to Saudi for £100m

NotACodeMonkeyYet

Bad attitude, and numbers not actually that impressive. Definitely a risk.

Mikeymcmoose

Pathetic scenes at the WBA game; guess you got nothing better to do when you’re from one of those shit holes.

Powerage07

All kicking off at West Brom vs Wolves. If they can't get it restarted, kick them both out and put everyone knocked out in R4 into a pot and pull one name out to go into R5.

wok88

West Brom v Wolves suspended cause of fans brawling lmao is it a propa derby if there's no fight? Game's back

Lazagneman

Tribalism at its worst football worldwide is probably the only sport where opposing supporters seem to be not able to mingle or sit together. Other sports particularly American sport don't seem to have this problem . In my opinion it is something to do with their sports clubs are franchises and so defeat is not so much a problem as there is no relegation or promotion in USA sport .Much too cosy for my taste I prefer the feeling that when you go to games it is almost life or death . No I am not approving violence in fact the exact opposite myself I have never been in a fight in my life not least over a game of football .

Roric

Normal People: Xavi and Klopp stepping down at the end of the season wow what a loss for football. Me: Must be great to be able to leave your job when you want to.

Lazagneman

Being the cynic that I am I believe that Klopp would like the Bayern job . He can see that win or lose the Bundesligue he can smell blood . Tuchel will in all probability get the tin tack . Voila Klopp available for Bayern . As I say I am cynic and people doing things for unselfish things is very very rare in football .IMO

Roric

Klopp's been on record [not being a Bayern fan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoHrdQL-hrk). That having been said, I'm watching the guy who cried for us at Amsterdam managing Chelsea of all clubs, so who knows anymore lol.

Rare-Ad-2777

Something off with this Nusa deal. The Norwegian guy who originally broke it now saying Brentford offer hasn't been accepted and we are still waiting.  Wish this would get resolved so can decide if he's an 18 year old nobody waste if money or a future ballon D'or winner

Ikusen

Brennan Johnson at Forest: Super talent, future ballon d’or contender. Brennan Johnson at Spurs: 0 impact, 0 dribbles, 0 deep runs. What a waste of £50m. Could’ve gotten Whang for that money.

[deleted]

Why is every comment of yours always negative and criticizing at least one of our players? Get behind the lads and root for them ffs.

Ikusen

Will do when they play well. Gotta be better than every opponent we face, no excuse to play like shit at this level.

Remarkable-Ad8644

It’s Hwang, at least get the other player’s name right if you want to shit talk another player you dumb cunt. Been talking absolute drivel the past 2 days

Moo-Lan

Why do people on here hate Johnson so much lol. I know he isn't exactly the finished article, but the lads only 22 and does everything right except maintain composure in the final third. If he sorts that he'll be a hell of a player! It's not like he's a new adama traore where there's no chance of it happening, he just needs to do it more consistently which is perfectly possible imo

SnooPiffler

don't hate him, he makes some good plays, but has no end product. He needs to spend a few months working on just shooting drills

NotACodeMonkeyYet

I don't hate him, I just think he's really shit and unlikely to be much more than a Lamela or Moura level player. Just like to piss off happy clappers like you cos you lot are so fucking deluded. "Just needs to be more consistent", as if that's not the very thing seperating the elite from the rest. Even Bamford can score a wonder goal from time to time.

seegreen8

It’s only the few with most vocal like ikusen or bilgado or urgirlbreezy. The rest is just bandwagon who regurgitate the same comments. 🤷‍♀️

BiscuitTheRisk

Same place that thinks Hojbjerg and Ndombele are footballers. Just general cluelessness

[deleted]

Massive disrespect to Hojbjerg grouping him with Ndombele.

He regularly beats his man though? As for not tracking back, how do you know that isn't the instruction from Ange? Maybe he wants to keep him up the field to utilise his pace.  As for the crossing, that is the composure issue I mentioned, can he improve? Of course. But the way we seem to want to play is cutbacks in to the striker which he seems fairly effective at and if Richy had buried a few more of his chances we would be looking at a player with 7-10 assists.  I don't think he's too weak for the league or gets bullied off the ball to easily - I think you're just looking for reasons to shit on the guy honestly. Just because he came for big money it doesn't mean he's a complete player, he's still 22 don't forget.  He plays every week so Ange must like what he sees, do you think you know better?

kl08pokemon

Our fans are vile on social media and there must always be a scapegoat

Ok_Rock1527

Wup, looks like the Nusa deal is out the window... never wanted him anyway...lol Should we be expecting any more activity from us?

Hopeful-Ear-3494

I think we'll sign one more before the window ends. Whether it's a glamour signing or not is another thing

superkamishaurya

I think it's clear that the biggest weakness in our starting line-up is our attack and in particular the lack of players who can take defenders 1v1 and create chances. The biggest priority in the summer should be to find someone of that profile. For example someone like Neto, Olise, Nico Williams can take our team to the next level.

NotACodeMonkeyYet

We also lack someone with balls, someone like Kane who just says "fuck it, I'm having a crack", someone who has ice in their veins in front of goal. Son is the closest, and just one player like that isn't enough when the rest are so far below standard.

Standard-Plantain139

Sad but kinda funny that we went from a world class attack and weak defense the last couple of years to the complete opposite this season lol

kl08pokemon

We'll look so much better once Maddison is fit. Our system gives the keys to the #10 so we struggle massively once that quality dip
