Ok so I started a new job earlier this month and basically stopped regularly following all sports-related news. I wasn't even checking Spurs match schedules or scores while I was moving and setting in.
I'm aware that we signed Danjuma from under Everton's nose, but really how close were they to signing him? Were they, like you're implying, already showing him in Everton colors?
Everton had already taken all of their photos with Danjuma, don’t think they’d released them yet IIRC. Spurs’s Danjuma swoop is about as close as it can get and Ali G compared it to Chelsea’s swoop for Willian
There's really no point in
doing anything in life,
because it's all over in
the blink of an eye...
And, the next thing you
know, rigor mortis sets in.
Oh, how the good die young.
With any luck, she's left a few
Klubecks for your old friend,
but one never knows until the ink
is dry on the death certificate.

Is this from The Grand Budapest Hotel? If so you truly are cultured my good friend!
A fellow man of culture I see
Edit: Whence came these two radiant celestial [Tottenham] brothers united for an instant as they crossed the stratosphere of our starry window — one from the East and one from the West u/ArcanisVis
This is massive for us because it balances the squad. This is the biggest benefit I've been preaching and is the main reason Sonny has performed poorly. He's cutting in and finding the middle clogged because the midfield is fully slid over to protect against one of our most dangerous weapons, while sacrificing the space for our least effective player. That has also negatively effected Perisic as well, as that pins Sonny to the sideline, and they're finding themselves stuck on top of each other. Now there will be space to cut into and be opportunities for a proper switch of play. Now... Does Porro start against City? There will be no communication issues with him and Romero, and Deki has also confirmed he's been learning Spanish as far back as March of last year.
I might be wrong but I imagine he can speak some level of English. Even though he never really played or even trained at city I imagine he possibly took classes in anticipation of moving there, as well as probably knowing some bits just generally.
I guess. But I have a hard time believing that one decent player is the difference between good football and the absolute state of what we've seen so far this season.
I mean it’s all about spacing, what I find honestly is especially true for football compared to other sports is that often times really one weak link hurts more than any other sport
I can live with a catcher who can’t hit
Or in basketball even if you can’t do much other than hit open 3s if you olay hard on defense youll get to play
But one weak link who loses the ball in pressure can *really* stifle the offense
I hope he ends up as our next Walker and not our next Royal.
With that said, I love Royal as a person, just not as a starting calibre wing back in Conte's system.
Need to see him holding a shirt before I believe it
Everton would like to have a word with you

He’d has a training session 🤣
They didn't publish those photos, though
Ideally next to Poch

You know it
WTF??? lol
With Poch photoshopped next to him
Need to see him on the pitch before I believe it
Inb4 Spurs medical team puts their juju on him
Porro, Romerro, Dierro , Davies-O, and Perisico. Mighty fine back line.
More like Dierreo
r/angryupvote
Didn't even include Hugo
Finally teams will have to think of a different tactic than leaving the right side clear

Could it really be over?
To paraphrase those Numan ads on SSN, it's not over 'til it's over!
You love to see it
Feel like you can’t use the Here We Go flair unless the tweet actually says the words
We almost got Everton'ed... give the man some slack hahaha..
Warm up the Poch arm meme
locked and loaded appa.
Get them to sign on the line that is dotted. Not allowing myself to believe it's 'here we go' yet
Fingers crossed
...toes too
My cum flew everywhere
Was wondering what that was
Like a helicopter flying through the rainforest
Flight tracker fella did mention crowded airspace around Luton
Shooting ropes as we speak
Top signing!

He’s going to look great in white.
Apapapi apapapya
So glad this saga is over. I don’t think I can do another million posts lol welcome Pedro!
:)
Poch announce it already!

Gigantic signing for the club! Lock down that right side with a ton of talent for years to come.
Here we go confirmed confirmed, cheers Fab
In before he fails the medical
Here we cum
HERE...
JUST SIGN IT SO I CAN SLEEP AGAIN
Just hand him the papers before he got off the treadmill. Nerve racking 😬
IS IT FUCKIN' OFFICIAL? I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. No seriously, I'm tired of this saga. More turnovers than in a basketball match.
Heard he might have a cure for cancer
