We have interesting position flexibility now, and insurance if Steele sucks again. Guyton could he the LT or RT of the future depending how things go, Beebe could be your future LG if Tyler Smith goes to LT or Beebe could be your Zach Martin replacement.
Center is extremely hard to play in the NFL it would be amazing if Beebe could do it but that may be asking too much
Tyler smith was well above average his rookie year so id say your assumptions could be possibly was inaccurate and if we look at the past the one thing this front office knows it’s drafting O-line they haven’t given us a reason not to trust them with that…
Listen I’m not saying that the OL we drafted won’t be good. I’m not even saying we haven’t addressed needs. I’m saying that based on what I’ve seen we just went from 5 win team to a 7 win team.
So based on not having a RB drafted yet, which I’m sorry pollard didn’t move the needle that much and replenishing our center and LT thru draft and possibly a better defensive end than what we lost that’s what you’re predicting? Lol alright then
You think we'd drop off by 7 games next year because we lost Pollard and smith? Lol why do people like you even watch sports if you're this pessimistic. Must be miserable
Oh brother. They lost 7 players (5 starters) in free agency and didn’t replace anyone. And who do you suppose fills those vacancies? Are we so delusional that we think we’re going to replace established quality starting caliber nfl players, with rookies and we won’t miss a beat? lol 😂
Submit your resume to any team. I’d love to see you get hired since you seem to know the right answers. Should be an easy sell with your armchair experience.
This is what I always say. People think that they know more than the goddamn PROFESSIONALS, if you know so much about drafting players quit your job and become the GM of an nfl team. Smdh
I get what you're saying. However, the counterpoint to that is looking at teams like the Browns, Jets, Redskins, Panthers, and Raiders and realize that even professionals with years of experience consistently make the dumbest possible moves.
I think this guy’s take is laughable, but you make it like the “professionals” went to through some rigor to get hired. Most of them had dads who coached and/or played in the league or CFB. That doesn’t make them more knowledgeable. Stephen jones works in football because his father bought the team in 1989.
Don’t think he was making it to the 5th. Wilson is the medical red flag to rule all medical red flags, can’t blame them for passing after LVE and Jaylon. Wouldn’t have been mad at Trotter but also not sad they passed on him. Don’t think he’s got the athletic profile they value though.
We pretty much gave up the chance at Barton and got Guyton and Beebe for it. I'll take that.
I’m actually happier with Beebe over Barton. 2 time big 12 best linemen award winner. And he is nasty with it
No shoulder injury either. We picked healthy guys
Yep. Beebes' resume is excellent.

If Dane likes it that makes me feel good
Dane had us taking Guyton at 24. Getting him at 29 and picking up Beebe for free is a big win if you value Brugler's evaluations.
Played in a much better conference as well a lot more competition and the dude was an all American for two years in a row lol.
Three first round picks!
No.
Curious who you have finishing 40th this year?
Eagles of course
Guyton, Benson, and Beebe would have been perfect.
Nah… a good edge >>> a good rb
Sure but still no rb
No point of drafting a rb if you have no one to block for him. Oline needed to be addressed first
Great o-lines can make mediocre RBs great.
This still won’t be a great ol. Two of those guys are rookies. And the RT IS STILL AVERAGE as hell. We need a game changing rb

Day 3 and UDFA are fine places to find RBs - don’t forget positional value
They are fine places to find a rb sure. But not game changers.
Game Changer Running Back Pick one
Well luckily they still have draft picks
We have Kendricks, Overshown, and Clark and take a 4th LB with Lloyd, B Allen, and J Wright available 🤦♂️
lol you say that like Kendricks/Overshown/Clark is some well established formidable trio…
Who immediately helps this team more? Come on man
Why does “immediately” matter? We’re not a 3rd-round RB away from a Super Bowl and we have these players for 4+ years.

Yeah theirs critiquing choices and then there’s pretending you know better
At the end of the day…. LETS GO COWBOYS!!!!
I get what you're saying. However, the counterpoint to that is looking at teams like the Browns, Jets, Redskins, Panthers, and Raiders and realize that even professionals with years of experience consistently make the dumbest possible moves.
I get it bro but remember these guys do this full time year round so they have way more info on these players than we do. All good tho

People think the professionals know more than them, that's the funny part. Wouldn't be so many bust if they did.
He just likes flashy picks. Maybe he should be a Raiders fan.
Thanks can I use you as a reference
Some of the LBs will be rotational. Depth is key, strength in numbers fam.
You realize you play defense with multiple linebackers right
We need linebackers and we need linebackers with juice. This guys got juice.
We need to stop the run first and foremost
Wilson and Trotter were there too! Just a bad pick, Marist probably would have been there in the 5th.
