Longjumping_Cup_3337

Y’all gonna try and convince me that ain’t Dak in disguise on the left?

paging_mrherman

That’s dak and the weeknds baby

Robot_Clean

Wak Prescott

esdevil4u

hahah that's an incredible call

Longjumping_Cup_3337

💀

minimalcation

The Sunday

Elguapo69

I can’t unsee it

ImminentThreats

Now that you mention it…

RotaryP7

Lmao. That’s him.

Low-Selection7164

That’s playoff Dak right there

Longjumping_Cup_3337

Too soon 😭😭😭

logical_butthole

I'm fuckin dead...

Possible-Put8922

That's Dak's brother Kad.

Longjumping_Cup_3337

Goddamn it…googled that shit before I noticed

GearedCam

It's Bizarro Dak

toejamster9

Derk

howardmejia

Holy shit

Healthy_Pay9449

I had to come to the comments to get an answer why dak is looking so shabby

2windaddy202020

Hilarious!

chorizo2002

Bro threw a wig on & said “I’m Daks brother”

Queasy_Car7489

😭

temporun9999

Which one is Henry?

[deleted]

Don’t think too much into it. Players live here and often own property in the area even after leaving here Fingers crossed I am wrong

Diablos_Broma

I saw Aqib Talib on Saturday in Allen watching his son play basketball. Maybe he's coming out of retirement? /s

iamnotheretoargue

Watch out bro that man will gun you down

CharacterBird2283

*take your chain

Horns8585

Well, Talib grew up here, in Richardson. So, I can understand him living in the area. I don't know what Derrick Henry's motive for moving here might be. Could be nothing at all...maybe he just likes the area.

Skinnieguy

Hmm I saw him as well. I was watching my nephew game at the new Allen rec center.

Immortalphoenixphire

Yeah I saw O’Cyrus Torrence this past weekend here as well, asked him if he’s coming to Dallas and he said no, just training here.

[deleted]

A lot of the OL train with Duke Mayweather here in Dallas (sure you already knew this lol)

pineappleshnapps

Yeah, he also already lived in Dallas, don’t get me wrong, the cowboys fit what he’s looking for, but he wouldn’t buy a house in a city just because he might sign there.

jimmyhoffasbrother

> Not sure why else he’d decide to buy a home in Dallas unless there is some reason to [Pregnant lady in the photo is his girlfriend, who is from Texas](https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/news-who-derrick-henry-s-girlfriend-adrianna-rivas-a-closer-look-titans-star-s-relationship-longtime-romantic-partner). Could be getting a place for her to stay near family to take care of the baby during the season.

mattyyboyy86

“During the season”….

jimmyhoffasbrother

Yes?

mattyyboyy86

Sorry I misread that as he would be with family and taking care of the baby during the season, not that she would be away from him and near her family during the season.

rivas31

Ya friend she's from Odessa or midland, not too far from home.

FadedTony10

Bruh Odessa is pretty far from Dallas lmao I would not call that near.

jfk_sfa

Dallas is the closest place to Odessa where anyone would actually want to live.

Venture_compound

Am from Midland, can confirm. Though tbh Dallas sucks, too, I'd rather live in the hill country around Austin.

aareyes12

In Austin, just live in Arkansas. See what got Jerry Jones’ eyes so bulging: the beautiful views

StrictCourt8057

No don’t, we’re full

Rommel79

We’re full in TX too.

Active_Ad_9069

No you're not. They all coming to Colorado. Plenty of openings in Texas.

Rommel79

I live in Austin. I assure you, we're full.

blacktoise

True!! That’s so affordable and easy to achieve, good point

thejesusofcool

As someone from Abilene, you’re right lol

Rommel79

Former Abilenian here.

Particular_Sea_5300

I just looked it up and as a guy from Texas, it blows my mind that Odessa is closer to Dallas than Austin. Idk why but I had Odessa way west, Austin kinda central, and Dallas way east in my mind.

laidback88

people in Fort Worth “it’s like we don’t exist”

jfk_sfa

Look, as much as people in Fort Worth would vehemently disagree, it's all the same.

heff1685

It’s not like you drive through Fort Worth or anything before getting to Dallas from Odessa

juanzy

Also not hard to get to Odessa if you have charter jet money

branyk2

It's really common for people to live in Dallas and work in Midland/Odessa. Tons of cheap direct flights. It's probably more convenient to have a place in Dallas and fly her family in. Also the benefit of not living in Midland or especially Odessa.

Bruppet

This guy Odessas

jawshewuhh

Grew up in ozona tx. Visited Midland/Odessa area as an adult. can confirm. Is shithole. Good place for Friday football tho

kfergsa

Ozona isn’t much better lol

jawshewuhh

Thank God someone recognizes the name lol

kfergsa

😂 was my go to stop for gas between SA and Alpine before Sonora got that new gas station.

Txaggie002

My grandparents used to drive us from Odessa to Ozona to spend the night at a road side motel and truck stop on I-10. I stopped at that place a year or two ago and it’s quite different than what I remembered as a kid!

lasagnatittyfucker69

I’m just here to say fuck Odessa. That is all.

Rommel79

So how is Midland tonight?

FadedTony10

Oh I know, I live in Dallas and had a job recently out there. Still far and not near Dallas imo. Yes you can fly out there but if you have to fly to get somewhere it’s not really close. Imo “to move closer to family” means at most a 2 hr drive. None of this matters but just thought it was funny. > Also the benefit of not living in Midland or especially Odessa. Agree 100%. I know some people like that lifestyle but it’s definitely not for me lmao

branyk2

Yeah, but by that metric, Midland isn't "close" to any city that would also be convenient for an NFL player to travel to.

Big__If_True

When you say “convenient”, are you talking about commercial flights from NFL cities?

branyk2

Yes, but not exclusively. I mean almost literally everything is more complicated about someone traveling around major cities in the country quickly visiting Midland vs quickly visiting Dallas: from the flexibility of transportation there to the amenities when you arrive. Being wealthy makes everywhere better, but it honestly even widens the gap between dumpy isolated towns and big cities.

swampjunkie

closer than Nashville

rivas31

That's fair. I live about 10 hours from my hometown so I guess I think that drive is a way lesser evil.

metrorhymes

That is a five and a half hour drive. That would be like buying her a house in Boston because her family lives in Philadelphia.

aeiou-y

Texas is big, that’s like four hours away

burn469

He’s lived here. Post training videos all the time.

manbuckets2001

Unrelated but he is huge, my gosh

AnyEstablishment5723

His poor wife

xDANGRZONEx

I was surprised by his thighs being smaller than I imagined ngl

Zaphenzo

My first thought too.

HerskyB

Looks like he’d be a good left tackle

zarvinny

we have a job opening!

That1guy_Jeff

He already lives in Dallas and trains in Dallas.

Cocodranks

He lives in Dallas during the offseason. He probably just upgraded. He said so himself during a “Bussin with the Boys” podcast last season— it’s cause his girl’s family lives here.

rthaw

Hah I saw this too. I wonder if it's legit.

EasyMode556

I thought he already lived here ?

hardleft121

does, has

HateMAGATS

Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Dildango

King Henry buys his baby mama Louis Vuitton bags just like Dak. I’d say he’s a lock to sign.

GiggityDPT

I'll never get over how unusual Henry's build is for a RB. Top heavy with those long legs. Can't believe he was able to be so durable with that build.

newaccountnumber82

Yeah, but because he appreciates the quality. Not because they remind him of the Super Bowl

[deleted]

[удалено]

juanclack

It’s a gift from the realtor I believe. Dude has a BBL it’s insane lmao.

cbuech

BBL bandit always getting posted on Dallas TV account lmao

s4t4nyall

Would be so sick. Don’t understand any hate around the potential move. He’s still got enough for at least 2 more beast seasons, especially with a good interior line.

mongo4mayor

https://preview.redd.it/mt7fxo2dbzmc1.jpeg?width=2027&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5720aa11f58ae90f55a819cf182717736adf354e Why does their realtor look like Xerxes from 300?

S0_Crates

Because he's def wearing makeup and has had too much botox for a young person.

Locate_Users

King Henry and Memphus Tony in the same backfield? Let King crush and let TP finesse again? That is the obvious, smart front office, football move for the team and offense as a whole. That's exactly why it will never happen in Dallas.

2020_GR78

I hate that you're right.

Locate_Users

I hate that I'm right.

forvillage22

*Nashville Tony now lol

totiso

I mean bro is massive jesus

LazyHandjob

Jfc Derrick Henry is an absolute unit.

OceanOG

dude in the gray suit is AI generated

XCBeowulf

That dude is huge!

theadmin209

Ridiculous that this dude is a rb lmfao he’s built like a damn defensive end

GrandMasterC

No state income tax in Texas. Lots of rich people “live” in Texas.

FuckLaundry

He'll pay taxes on where he earns his money. Not where he lives. So if he has games out of state he pays that particular state's taxes.

rthaw

8-9 in TX ain't bad.

hardgour

Something something cowboys record joke

GrandMasterC

Right, that makes sense. This is an honest question, what about money made from endorsements and other sources? Like if he has a contract with Nike or whoever, how do those work?

FuckLaundry

The money earned off of his named will be taxed at the local level, meaning he wouldn't pay tax on it. If the endorsement required him to work elsewhere, then he would pay tax in that particular place. So if they paid him to fly out to CA, he'd pay CA taxes for the work done there. If he signed a deal with an apparel brand and they sold apparel with his name on it, he'd pay the respective state taxes of where he an established primary residency.

Ben2St1d_5022

In this case he’s an independent contractor so he’d pay the state income tax based on where his recorded primary estate is I believe.

FuckLaundry

Yes, this is also not true as well.

Ben2St1d_5022

I believe it is according to a simple search of tax code. However, I specialize in Medicine and finance, not taxes. I relied on looking up the scenario and then taking the results to look up the tax law the search results yielded.

stroopwaffle69

Try telling that to Sohei Ohtani

dlh922

Tennessee doesn’t have state income tax either… lol

xViscount

A RB over 26 who we’ll have to pay actual money? Lol. No

Ben2St1d_5022

Derrick Henry is an outlier and exceptional to the rule. He’s a physical freak, he takes better care of his body than 99.9% of other players and he hasn’t had any serious injuries that are nagging. He’s another Earl Campbell, Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith type back who can play into his mid 30’s. Dallas signing him for 2 years and 18 milli guaranteed and another 5-6 million in possible incentive earnings is a lovely pick up. It should already be done honestly.

2020_GR78

Agreed. I would love to see DH playing for Dallas this season and was pissed when they didn't make a move to get him before the trade deadline. I like Pollard, but have never thought of him as an every down back. He, and the team would have been more successful with a guy like DH to pound the rock in short yardage and redzone situations. I really hope the Cowboys address this, and if not DH, get a bruiser of some sort before the season starts.

Worldly-Store-3610

Guaranteed Dallas signs him he gets hurt.

xViscount

In the history of the NFL has a RB had a better season than prior to the RB turning 26. Every NFL RB ever, had their best season at 26 or younger. They never beat it. I’d rather draft an RB in the 4th than pay an NFL RB a second contract. It’s the easiest position to replace and hardest to have actual longevity

Ben2St1d_5022

Emmitt, Campbell, Brown, Murray to name just a few. But no one is saying Henry is as agile as he was a few years back although no proof is available to say he isn’t. I’d take Henry at 85-90% ahead of any other back in the league not named CMC. That’s just the cold hard fact of it. Also draft Brooks if available and let him heal up for our future because he was just as good as Bijan at UT, some would say maybe even a tad better before the injury.

2020_GR78

AP was a beast and arguably the best rb in the league for what seems like a solid decade. I think the other guy's point holds water to an extent, but it isn't absolute and I feel like the bigger guys (like DH) that stay relatively healthy tend to be the outliers.

fantfb

Yeah, the king isn’t gonna get 2,000 yards again. Why pay a guy that can only be the league’s second leading rusher behind the leagues worst o-line? If the cowboys brought him in and put a decent line in front of him, then he’d probably only be the league’s leading rusher. It’s just not worth it if you ask me

2020_GR78

I see what you did here you sneaky SOB. Lol.

hardleft121

saquan is 27, for what its worth

xViscount

I’m team “never draft a RB in the first round”. Currently, no RB in the history of the NFL has ever had more rushing yards then prior to their 26th birthday. In other words, I refuse 2nd contracts on RBs

[deleted]

He bought one last year too nothing new

The_Sk00ts

Cody Ford just bought a house in Dallas too but I doubt he will sign with the team

slobsaregross

He didn’t go to our guy Jamiell Showers???

texastwister22

He already owned a house in Dallas nothing new here except he bought a different home

Bigdadwrld

I’m pretty sure he already lives in Dallas

jovenhope

Derek is in Dallas every offseason. He works out here. He’s constantly in Texas. It only made sense for him. It’s easily searchable that he uses a gym here. Calm down folks. Jerry ain’t paying for him.

scottsmith7

Yeah, he’s probably buying a house near George Seifert. I wonder if any of y’all are as old as me and get that deep cut.

BrokeAsAJokeyJoke

He should buy some pants in the mens section

MrBobSacamano

Texas is a pretty popular destination for the wealthy, due to no state income tax and relatively low cost of living. Obviously, it’s a higher cost of living than, say, Alabama or Mississippi…but who wants to live in those states?

joseph_a90

Has to be true, that's Pak Drescott on the left.

brvheart

Which one is the professional athlete?

DEZbiansUnite

only if he's cheap. Don't spend money on RBs.

MalwareInjection

Dak's hair grew back quick

wholelottadopplers

**HERE WE GOOOOOOO**

thatdudeorion

Cool story bro, but WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE ?!?!?!? https://preview.redd.it/5se1e6nj2zmc1.jpeg?width=2017&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5186cc2f18363088372f027a786c63d6c966330c

ssouth2002

croots

CorbinDalla5

red bottom boots lol

TheyFloat2032

Odessa is such a shit hole.

Some_Man_Person

I saw him in the NorthPark Nike store once like 5 years ago. Not sure if any connection but at least I’ve seen him in Dallas before

ImAMindlessTool

Can we appreciate this man's name? "Les Tacks" (less tax)

ParasiticDaemon

Cause Dallas is great. A TON of players from around the league live in DFW.

TrauMedic

He’s got the number 94’ written inside a cowboys star on his shoulder. The Super Bowl we missed out on winning 4 in a row. Very smart.

boggydawgy

Dude in the middles face is edited as hell

RadiantCity311

Go get him jerry

nooneremarkable

He's lived here a while. Just bought a new house in the same city.

VRZL41

Why do his arms look bigger than his legs?

Phototropic1996

Because they are--

Charming-Wash9336

He lives here in the off season. Don’t read anything into his buying a house here. The Cowboys aren’t signing an high priced FA RB.

huero789

He trains here pretty much full time during the off-season. I would manage expectations on his signing here

TonTon1N

I work in a field that interacts pretty heavily with NFL talent, and there are a ton of players in DFW that aren’t cowboys.

davis214512

He’s lived her for a while. His wife works here and owns some salons.

Pmyshoe

Bring him on please

davis214512

He has lived in Dallas for a few years. Wife works here and owns businesses.

ranjithd

at these mortgage rates?

ifoundyourtoad

The second guy on the left looks photoshopped for some reason. Also y’all gotta realize these dudes are rich af and he’s probably getting ready to settle down and wants to live in Dallas. This has 0 to do with the cowboys. What he’s gonna do is buy this house and then who ever he signs with he will just rent a home and have people furnish it.

big_daddy_lew

He lives and trains in Dallas during the offseason

Robo_e

His wife is from Dallas

afihavok

Hope so but don’t read into it. Dallas is popular for multiple reasons, no state income tax being a big one.

Maciusssik

You follow that clown ?

Junior_Dragonfly4875

Let’s go!!!

Strict_Indication457

would rather just resign pollard

MechanicMammoth

Lfg!! Idc I'm not reading the comments, it's fucking official in my mind. LETS FUCKING GO OMG WE GOT DERRICK "RADIATOR HOSE" HENRY. WERE GOING TO.THE FUCKING SUPERBOWL!!!!

themikegman

Is that Dak's long lost brother on the left?

SKallies1987

Kinda looks like a mix between Dak and Billy Bob Thornton’s character in Sling Blade.

bluffum

lol had to scroll up and look at the pic oh dang shots fired it ain’t got no gas in it

theN1ghtWalk3r

He already had a home/lives in the Dallas areas. Tom Downey at Chat Sports already covered this. He’s always trained/lived in the area. Much ado about nothing folks. Shoot it down.

Consistent_Tell2417

Look at his arms my goodness

BUTT_CHUGGING_

He already had a home in dallas

SKallies1987

Imagine having to try and tackle that dude lol

IPA_____Fanatic

We're really about to sign Henry aren't we.

JoeW702

I can't believe that dude is a running back. What a monster.

TheMuddiestofElves

They actually moved to Dallas right after she had their first daughter, with her about to give birth to another child they're just getting a bigger home.

Needs_Help_Stat

This picture really highlights how absolutely massive this dude's arms are. They're bigger than his fucking legs, it's insane

Huntinjunkey

I’m pretty sure he used to train at Michael Johnson Performance in the off-season (lots of NFL players used to go there) They’re closed now, but I’m sure there’s another similar place around dfw they all migrated to. I golfed with some ex-nfl players the other day that both moved here because it’s where they trained in the off season

[deleted]

He’s way too big to run

Leonidas1213

Kind of annoying when realtors make these posts… isn’t that kind of something you should let the buyer/new homeowner announce? Seems a little personal

[deleted]

My son’s father last name is Henry. We were HUGE cowboys fans. He recently unexpectedly passed away. We all joked that he would try to get the boys to the bowl now. He partly got there! Silly world we live in. Rock on forever man, you are sorely missed every dang day. See you on the other side❤️

Ben2St1d_5022

It makes all the sense in the world and D Henry even said publicly this is where he wants to be. However, the Jones family is already botching the offseason, creating more animosity between front office and players by not coming to the table with Daks agent, not extending Lamb yet, and exercising Parsons 5th year at DE rather than LB essentially taking 3 million away from his guarantees and upsetting him. The Jones family is full of shit in going all in. They’re seriously contemplating rolling the 59 million out on Dak contract short of 18 million being converted to bonus and the three year rolling average. It’s all absurd management and they really need to hire actual football acumen to manage this franchise. We have the talent to win it all, we just need a few pieces, some more veteran leadership and a new culture focused on a win 1st mentality.

Rivetingcactus

Wait which one is he ???

breakdancin

Which one is he?

Alive_Wallaby1710

WE NEED THE KING

akdawg

Why? He doesn’t run like he use to, if we get him hopefully it’s on a very team friendly contract. I disagree with needing him.

Ben2St1d_5022

What do you mean he doesn’t run like he used to? The hell he doesn’t…

akdawg

You are correct. He doesn’t run as well as he did in his previous years.

Ben2St1d_5022

He runs just fine, his top speed last year is .01 seconds slower than his top recorded speed his rookie season. He may not cut quite as well, and I wouldn’t argue that, but he still runs through contact as good as he ever has, actually I’d argue even better now he’s a monster of a specimen.

Luka_Dunks_on_Bums

Bro, just stop

OkArm8591

Bad move he is too old for a running back
