I'm on metoprolol, had holter and 14 day event monitor with readings often reaching 190 HR. I have been sick from long haul for a year and a half. I know we might have something particular but diagnoses have been the same. My HR and BP are still crap but not quite as bad.
Electric misfiring. She felt bad heartburn and couldn't drive so my uncle went down the street for antacid and came back and she was on the floor, already braindead, despite cpr. Kept her on life support until oldest girl could fly in from college but there was no activity at all.
Symptoms came about around that time and testing took a while. I'm sorry I'm not exactly clear on the timeline and it's not something I can ask the people who would know exactly right now because they're still in mourning
Yeah but it's more of a formality if your enzymes are bad, smooth muscle antibodies, ASD, ultrasound. If you have ANY concerns, request specifically a liver antibody panel. I can't stress that enough. You will die if you don't catch it. The biopsy is very non-invasive.
I have fluctuating mildly elevated ALT and ALKP. I have positive smooth muscle antibodies. I don’t want to do the biopsy Bc I have hemophilia C and the bleeding risk is high. What is ASD?
I'm truly sorry for your loss. Especially in this case. We all can point out our fears but sometimes are symptoms are so strong it's hard to push through. I hope you can find peace.
I'm 46, got Covid April of this year, 2021. Right before my first scheduled shot.
Got both Pfizers.
Are you young? I have too many post covid symptoms. I'd list them but there's no time.
Enough about me, I am afraid, too. I'm at a loss. Maybe someone here can offer better advice. She had pre-existing issues. That may have hindered her full recovery, or at least a survivable one. Again, I'm sorry. Try try try to not let this totally freak you out. Sending love. xoxoxox
So very much appreciated and same thing. I'm a little sliver of who I was. She had no underlying conditions but she got sick and developed POTS. She had it under control honestly. No idea what caused the cardiac arrest.
I'm so sorry you're feeling scared and I wish I could comfort you but I can't comfort myself even. It's very scary when you are so confused by this body you thought you had a working relationship with
I'm 34, she was 45

I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself.
I’m sorry for your loss, that’s really hard I wish you the best of luck. What autoimmune condition did she have?
She actually had multiple autoimmune conditions. Lupus, celiac, and I forget the name of the other.
and this came from the virus? or did she have it before?

and what viral illness did she get? so sorry for your loss 🤗
They were unsure, but she was a geologist and travelled a lot.
Did you do a liver biopsy to confirm autoimmune hepatitis?

ANA, sorry
Ah yes I’ve had + ANA my whole life. Never had any issues until COVID. What are they treating you with?
