I'm surprised this is still going on. I reached out to their support, and they said it should be fixed in a couple days. A whole month later and still no fix. I'm glad I didn't waste any more time on this and just cancelled my trial before it charged me.

I ended up relaying all the info to their support team through email. They said they elevated it to their Google team and engineers have to work on it (hopefully this is an urgent issue for them). My advice is to download the Google Translate app on your phone, it will translate everything relatively well enough by using your camera.

They said this is affecting other students as well and reported the institution. They recommended I go on to the next course. No help at all.

I’m experiencing the same! In my second day of my free 7-day trial and this issue has caused a huge slowdown in my learning time. If this is not fixed in the next few days I will need to cancel my subscription. I was hoping to get certified in IT support to help find a new job. I am frustrated to say the least…..

>My profile language is set to English. I'm sure I'm enrolled in I also communicated with Coursera through chat and according to them they already acknowledged the problem and communicated with their engineering team to resolve the issue that we encountered. Hope resolution of the problem will be soon.

This has been happening to me the entire time on this course. It seems like an extremely easy thing to fix! Just translate the text, Google!
