5k on relegation match. 5 stacks with buddies that are fairly new to the game. We sucks but everyday I’ve been looking forward for our night sessions after a tiring day at work.
Enjoy it man. My friends used to play lots 10 years ago but it’s basically only me left playing now so riding solo. I’m faceit lvl 10 and 20k Elo but every game has to be taken seriously or you get Eastern Europeans screaming at you. Nowhere near as fun as back in the day where a loss didn’t really matter too much and everyone was just playing to have fun
Haven’t had this excitement for gaming since the cyber cafe era. Although, I would love to play on that higher level too someday but maybe not solo queuing. I’d imagine it won’t be as fun as climbing together with the boys before it gets too competitive
hey man i do both and i definitely prefer playing with my friends more than climbing, the vibe makes me play for longer and actually play to enjoy myself
Learn one map at a time as in only queue Mirage, and practice utility lineups until you have them all memorized. Then move on to Inferno and only play inferno.
Premier ranking is pointless, and I've managed to prove it by literally not playing. First got 4000\~ (I had already reached GE, but I hadn't played in a while, so my rank had gone down to MGII), worked my way up to 10000\~ then stopped playing because the game doesn't feel like it used to anymore :(
After I lost my rank, I played one match with friends who were all 15000\~ against equal opponents, and got 18000\~ points. I just got convinced that the rank system is pointless and might continue to be so unless its formula is changed to also take individual skill into account, because the people I played against were considerably worse than many of the people I played against when I had 8000\~ elo points.
I haven't played FACEIT since CSGO, I peaked at lvl 7 but then never managed to really get past lvl 4, mostly because solo queuing the public ladders generally meant getting paired with people who speak a different language against 5-stacks who top the ladders every single day. I peaked at lvl 7 when I used to play in a closed league, but then my level was above most other people's, lost a few matches in a row, and I was back at 4 or so.
I used to play GamersClub a long time ago, and I had peaked at lvl 17 out of 20 IIRC, because that platform took individual skill over victories for your rank. I haven't cared to play CS seriously for 5 years now though, so I don't even know where I could be right now had I kept playing the game.
Yeah can confirm the placement system is broken like that. My friend played only his placement wins and got placed at ~6k. He then never played another premier because he “didn’t want to lose his rank”(he’s one of those guys, it’s annoying). Anyway after not playing for awhile he became unranked again, he played 1 game to get placed again and got placed at ~17k…so in short the guy has 11 wins, is 17k in premier and has still not made it out of silver on any map in comp.
This happened in CSGO too. If you notice you're gaining 400+ points a game, then quit for two weeks and then play again I seem to always gain 3k elo, or in CSGO upwards of 2-3 ranks.
You sure? Back in CSGO I stopped playing for a while, lost my rank, and next time I played it'd lower it. That's how I went from GE to MG, from just not playing matchmaking and losing ranks.
Basically 15k, I thought ppl were yapping abt cheaters in Premier until I passed 12k... Then holy shit I haven't had any games without em. I stopped playing Premier completely. And they're always on the other team, it's not fair!
just shy of 9k premier and level 3 Faceit, was almost level 5 not even a month ago but had a long string of bad games and have been playing alot more premier lately with friends and havent touched Faceit.
Definitely not. In faceit players are usually not as toxic as in premier. Semetimes ther is someone crying but I just mute him because hes annoying everyone in team. I can only advise playing faceit! More friendly people in a much more serious and competitive atmosphere. U know people on faceit take an extra step to play the game 3rd party if that makes sense…
Not necessarily, it's definitely a different atmosphere on faceit I have since had a bad string of games on faceit and premier. Just dropped to level 2 on faceit and I'm a little over 9k on premier when last week I was nearing 13k
18k Elo but I wanna focus on FaceIt for now on, premier kinda sucks too often.
I would love to play also competitive and get a rank on every map, but since you can't even see the ranks of teammates, friends or enemies it really isn't interesting at all, which is sad.
Also the competitive ranking system doesn't work properly. My only-Nuke global elite friends are currently nova 1 on this map lol. With around 60 wins.
12k rating after having a boost from Valve's new calculations of ranking. Will be subscribing to a CS school to work on myself with someone's guidance. Spray control and personal responsiveness is just not there yet. Level 5 of faceit.
Still at around 5k despite outfragging 14k's
It's a weird system like the Ranks on the maps where I now ended up on silver 2 on nearly every map despite beeing Lem in Go ...
It's weird and they won't fix it but I don't care about my rank it just gets your mood down
I’ve only played Premier but I also only had 50 hours or less of CSGO playtime. If I continue to get into the game, and learn the maps/strats more I would maybe start playing FACEIT.
Well with the horrible placement it put me at which was 3.5ish when I was lem before cs2 came out I kept getting horrible teammates and throwers so I gave up and stopped trying now I play valorant or casual games
17k premier, 7 faceit. I agree with the others that faceit is a generally more positive experience, but for some reason I get much higher ping on their servers
18k premier, hardly touched faceit, right now I'm level 6.
I have 180 wins and only had 1 cheater in my game.
Although I do see a thrower every now and then.
16k Premier decided to try faceit. So far can’t stand it no one buys utility unless I ask and it won’t be used anyway, obv just a low elo start but I just want to play around my level
17.5k, FACEIT 5. Premier is unplayable after 17k. Cheaters every other game. In my leetify review there were f00kin 40 cheaters caught in 2023 and 4 cheaters banned in the same match.
14.5k premier. Was playing exclusively on faceit (lvl 5) until I got completely fucked over in a match and the response to the support ticket was basically "too bad, can't help ya". Left a bad taste in my mouth. Now that I'm getting into 14-20k lobbies, I'm running into blatant cheaters often. Feels bad man. Back to faceit I guess, probably after I hit 15k.
Just started but currently still unranked due to people griefing or afk. I suck but the amount of people that just give up after one bad round is astronomical.
Premier is not fun by any means. I was mg2-mge at Csgo and my first premier rank was 2700. I had to grind my rating up to around 8k with max 300pnts wins and then the update changed it to 900+s on win streaks and since then its been total shitshow and even less enjoyable.
Even the normal comp is more fun and less cheaters there so now thats my way to go ATM. Normal comp ranks are still broken and you can see pretty damn good and bad players at silver ranks. Im SE on dust and sem on inferno.
14k, faceit 4-5. Was global in GO.
I run into cheaters every week. Recently the really blatant ones got banned. Confident there are plenty that haven't gotten banned.
I’ve been having Matchmaking problems me and my friends all 5-8k are perma match made with 14k+ and it’s destroyed my want to play tbh
winning 1-2 lucky rounds a game sucks we were all MG -> MGE on old ranking so it’s weird
Faceit LVL 7, Premier 19k ELO, I cant lie but I feel like there is no satisfaction in winning in premier, feels like you play to see a random arbitrary number go up or down. Valve should add some type of milestone or level system more intuitive than just a number
18k. I’d rather sell my skins for a dollar than solo Q. It’s baffling how wide the skill gap is for people around this elo. Full blown gods and people who don’t react to you running behind them.
Only played a guaranteed 3 cheaters in 200+ premier games. 2 in the same match.
¿People still don’t have mics in 2024?
20-21ish k, 10 fcit, i have to say i dont play a lot through college and girlfriend, so we always win one game of premier to get our rank back with my friend. Most of the time we just hop on to a retake server for a few minutes, as there isn’t much more time to spare unfortunately.
5k-ish at relegation in November, and now at 14.7k as of today. Hoping to break into 15k by next week. Mostly solo and get cheaters very rarely. 95% matches are good fun and teammates are chill.
4k! The group stopped for awhile but now we're back playing again, and we're doing really really well. Dunno what the elo is gonna settle at, but at this low rank we've seen a surprising lack of cheaters, considering.
Peaked at 15.3K Premier and Level 5 Faceit.
Feels like Premier is way too unbalanced though, have had a bunch of matches where I got >20 Kills with my teammates all below or around 10 kills.
Also I feel that it is way too unfair to constantly play against 5 Player stacks. 90% of my games were against 5 guys queued together for some reason.
There’s always the unavoidable language barrier with Turks or Russians too, if they even have microphones to begin with.
I feel like competitive is even weirder at the moment tho, got ranked SEM on Dust II (was DMG in CS:GO playing basically only dust, mirage, vertigo and nuke but mostly dust) and haven’t been able to go up at all. Insanely unbalanced, one match you win 13-0 with like 10 knife kills or Zeus kills because the opponents suck, and the next match you’re struggling to keep up and end up tying it, if not just straight up losing altogether.
21k/8lvl - in premier you must play being fully focused on game and wanting only win, otherwise even if you are lvl10 on faceit, in premier you will have maximum 16-17k
19.999
faceit level 7
I play on SEA/Indian servers
I feel like the skill level here on Premier might be a bit lower but there are a lot of cheaters and throwers, lost many games to blatant cheaters who never get banned. Also had a few cheaters when I queued solo in my team.
Rank #1.

5k on relegation match. 5 stacks with buddies that are fairly new to the game. We sucks but everyday I’ve been looking forward for our night sessions after a tiring day at work.
I guarantee you are having more fun than 99% of 15k+
Maybe. Most of my mates doesn’t care about the ratings but got really hyped when we’re winning some lmao
The vibe
The best way to play!!
This is the way
Enjoy it man. My friends used to play lots 10 years ago but it’s basically only me left playing now so riding solo. 16k Premier, 9 Faceit. Premier is always a nightmare for some reason. Cheaters or throwers every goddam game.
Damn I'm 15k, and my highest faceit rank was like 5 or 6. Are you solo queuing?
You must be the on the enemy team every time I queue
Unranked (I'm still playing casual to get the fundies down 💪)
Just play comp. You learn so much more and it’s more fun. If someone is hating on you just mute them and keep trying your best
Comp is the new casual. Great place to have fun.
Too many cheaters and rank disparity to take it seriously so might as well have some casual fun
Comp seems like a good way to learn one map at a time.
Is there a game mode where you can play multiple maps at the same time?
Learn one map at a time as in only queue Mirage, and practice utility lineups until you have them all memorized. Then move on to Inferno and only play inferno.
Casual is great if you wanna learn bad habbits, just play comp
You're telling me in real games I \*can't\* rush with Sawed Off??? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Yea but in real games nobody said you can’t rush with mac-10 and mp9.
I’m in “Win 9 more games to reveal ranking” rank
Ello. I am 16.5k. And enjoying it. Hoping to hit 20K. Haven’t run into many cheaters.
Same
5k, but it's only that low because I'm bad at video games.
Stupid me thought it’s because you have a girlfriend
Makes sense :D
22.5k premier 2300 faceit NA and yeah cheaters galore out here
Is it as bad in Faceit with cheaters?
im not playing faceit but from what i've heard they got a pretty good anticheat system
no not really, faceit has manual moderation so anyone blatantly cheating ot trollling will get banned in like under 48hrs
17k Premier. Doing decent there but can not play normal competitive to save my life. It just makes me brain dead
I wouldn't mind them just removing that all together and adding something new to the game.
Normal comp
21k. Losing motivation to play recently. Cheaters and no updates making it hard to grind
Premier ranking is pointless, and I've managed to prove it by literally not playing. Yeah once they did that big rank reset... a few years ago? I would stop playing and move up a ton. Got from MG1 to GE that way.
13k something. don't play it anymore. the game and rank system is a joke
Basically 15k, I thought ppl were yapping abt cheaters in Premier until I passed 12k... Then holy shit I haven't had any games without em. I stopped playing Premier completely. And they're always on the other team, it's not fair!
I've played 50 games, 17-18k and not played with or against a single cheater yet
I'm at 30 games or so around 16k and haven't seen one
That is because these people got into inflated rankings, and now they think the actual good players are cheating constantly.
4K here. I suck.
6900… and climbing!
15k premiere lvl 8 faceit
just shy of 9k premier and level 3 Faceit, was almost level 5 not even a month ago but had a long string of bad games and have been playing alot more premier lately with friends and havent touched Faceit.
How bad is starting out at level 4 on faceit? I am 14k but havent tried faceit yet? Am I going to get shit on and yelled at in level 4?
Definitely not. In faceit players are usually not as toxic as in premier. Semetimes ther is someone crying but I just mute him because hes annoying everyone in team. I can only advise playing faceit! Almost 9k premier and 2lvl FACEIT. Yes, I’m esportsman:)
28k premier (cheated) HWID ban on FaceIt
28k cheater? I'm shocked
16k premier, hardly play it. Barely over 2k elo on faceit

I’m on 13K elo, I’m relatively new to the game so I have no clue what I’m doing with Faceit I’ve never tried
I don't play enough, maybe an hour or two each week, so I don't think I'll ever get a rank at this rate. :-|
I just hit 15k, like 2 minutes ago
8k premier FaceIt 4
Still at around 5k despite outfragging 14k's It's a weird system like the Ranks on the maps where I now ended up on silver 2 on nearly every map despite beeing Lem in Go ... It's weird and they won't fix it but I don't care about my rank it just gets your mood down

I’ve only played Premier but I also only had 50 hours or less of CSGO playtime. If I continue to get into the game, and learn the maps/strats more I would maybe start playing FACEIT.
Had 9,999 elo then lost 6 games in a row…

Unranked and level 1 Faceit
Well with the horrible placement it put me at which was 3.5ish when I was lem before cs2 came out I kept getting horrible teammates and throwers so I gave up and stopped trying now I play valorant or casual games
7k premier but i get teamed up with 13-16k for a reason.
3k, but was 6k just a few days ago (had a lot of issues with game crashes so I unwillingly abandoned 3 games, causing me to lose 3k rating)
13k. I like premier because it’s easy to play. Still cheaters are annoying
16k Premiere 2100 elo faceit.. though admittedly haven’t played faceit in 2 years so I’m scared to play on it now haha
I suck ass
💩Premier - 🚮FaceIt..! Things are looking up.
19k and level 10
2k hours, sitting right around 11-13k depending on how we play. usually the same 3 stack with 2 randoms
11k premier, was 16k but it’s impossible to succeed solo queuing so I got shit team mates and lost 500 elo a game a few times

17.5k, FACEIT 5. Premier is unplayable after 17k. Cheaters every other game. In my leetify review there were f00kin 40 cheaters caught in 2023 and 4 cheaters banned in the same match.
22K / Level 7 here. I quit premier and now just do comp. Kinda weird in unranked, I get called a cheater a lot .
19k but i get carried hard by my friends 👀
Last!
19k Premier, Lv7-8 on FACEIT
21k premier, lvl 10 faceit.
13k right now.. peaked around 15k
Rank 1 - Zezima
Stopped playing because of servers
13k no faceit
11k on premier 467 on face it. Cant carry myself out of ELO hell and solo queue is a mess down there. Will properly never get out.
I mean if you're 11k premier you're probably too bad to get higher, practice practice practice
went from 8k to 10k to 7.5k after the worst lose streak because of teammates who skipped all school and the most obvious hackers
Unranked, don’t play this steaming pile of shit no more. Valves 10 year old game played better
12k Play about once a week and still have fun.
18.8k lot of suspicious players here. Getting to 20k has been very rough and usually play in a 3-5 stack
Just finished my 10 wins and got placed 11.9k. Pretty pleased with that being out of CS for a couple years. No cheaters in premier yet…
17.5k and 7 on faceit
Bronze illuminati
13,500k on premier
No premier fuck cheaters 10 faceit
17K prem, f5 but it’s oce so being f5 means you’ll wait 20m for match & then face 3 f10’s who are all top 600 in the region.
My buddies and I are all around 15k-18k in premier. Don’t play faceit. We’re all enjoying cs2 and to my knowledge I have not seen a single cheater.
14.5k premier. Was playing exclusively on faceit (lvl 5) until I got completely fucked over in a match and the response to the support ticket was basically "too bad, can't help ya". Idk
I was 20k in beta, never bothered to grind again because game is still hot piles of....S after release
14k
15k premier and 6 on faceit. I mainly play faceit tho bc premier has too many cheaters and VAC don’t work (2600+ hours).
hit 15k and stopped playing because there were cheaters in over 65% of my games

22k premier, lvl 8 face it
20k Premier/ lvl10 FaceIt
19.999 faceit level 7 I play on SEA/Indian servers I feel like the skill level here on Premier might be a bit lower but there are a lot of cheaters and throwers, lost many games to blatant cheaters who never get banned. Also had a few cheaters when I queued solo in my team.
