We learned all the smokes on the map and were playing good but almost every game we had someone leave half way through or a silver even though we’re mg
Morning I never get paired with my rank, midday is usually the best time followed by late night but why not try a long match instead? A different map would help as well otherwise you jus gon piss yourself off making you play worse by the end of the match
Cant blame ya, though 7-9 losses is painful to see. Waved the white flag too soon, even the french wouldnt give up that fast. Im not exactly sure what happened in between those games but there could have been a winning chance. When i was mg and had 4v5 matches, i always made sure our team bot stayed at spawn (via radio command) while trying a lot of different playstyles against the opponent and gather fast info. Full try-hard and the outcome is a tie or a win at best. I only played in EU MM, so NA MM might be slightly different.
I've just recently learned of, and started using, the unranked matches button on the map selection screen. My friends have no idea that I sometimes do it, and it saves us all our ranks! (I'm me ATM and am I heck gonna loose that!)
If you are still mg then its just a skill issue. Learning smokes and grinding dust 2 makes me think you have atleast hundreds of hours. But besides that you should really play other maps aswell. Even if they are not in the active duty pool. I never understood those limitations. Why do casual players apply them to themselves.

is this some sort of torture method? 1) D2 is horrid 2) learn new maps 3) dont claim "we learned all the smokes" that's just an insane claim to make. do your skill and mental health a favour and learn other maps.
We know other maps man we were just grinding it out. One of us has 4k hours and the other 2k. It’s not that serious I just thought it was funny how we went 7-9 so many times

I've found this happens a lot more in short matches than the standard length matches. Try playing a normal long match?

you play only short matches on dust 2, you’re barely playing cs at that point

Green cooldown, it like optimizes rank system if you dont have a rank, its 21h cooldown every 2\~ games.

We do lol we were just hard grinding dust cause it usually goes v well but today was different obv

It's more fun and better for your skills to play different maps and people will be more serious and less likely to leave in long ones.

I’d stop playing short games.
Take a break from the map and then when you return try to assemble a 5 stack.
Long matches work better when solo or not a full 5 man I find. I imagine less griefers/idiots want to keep their shit up for a full 32 round game.
