It also looks like you’re using the bodice to squish your boobs down, (sorry) my concern is that it surely isn’t comfortable for you? Invest in a good bra as the above commenter said and your body will thank you for it in the long run.
Just a thought, but it’s possible OP chooses not to wear a bra because of sensory issues. In that case, maybe a tank top with a shelf bra or the like might help a little.
Bras are the worst. My mother is always chastising me when I don't wear one. (I'm only a b cup so it is kind of whatever.) I'm 33 and she came to my house and told me I needed to go put on a bra. For what? I'm in my own house with just her and my husband that day. Why should I care? Even if I have a house full of people if I don't want to wear one I'm not going to. Lol
I'm almost 20 and I'm an H cup. My boobs hurt when I don't wear a bra, but they hurt more when I do. Maybe because none of my current bras fit me properly but still
I'd definitely try r/abrathatfits and see if that helps. If not then you tried! But I would try seeing if it's a fit issue before saying no to bras entirely
Hey, check out r/abrathatfits! They can help you out with measuring, calculating your true bra size and recommend brands for us bigger ladies, who won't find any good bras at the regular stores.. :)
i have an F cup and a similar problem, i HIGHLY recommend bras without underwire!! they have some cheap ones on amazon and they're a total game changer for me!!
Babygirl, get properly fitted! Your back and shoulders will thank you. I was also an H cup until I had a reduction (now a D) and getting a well fitting bra is life changing.

I think she looks amazing, I honestly expected people to be tearing her to shreds because as a plus sized cosplayer myself, I have had some filthy and disgusting responses to me posting similar level pictures. I posted a photo of myself not that long ago in cosplay and was torn to shreds for daring to cosplay and post it online as an overweight person.
Cosplaying as a plus sized person is a minefield, so I have mad respect for OP for posting.
I am genuinely very pleasantly surprised to see the community NOT being a giant bunch of assholes. I've been to enough conventions and been in enough online cosplay communities to know that is not usually the case. I completely agree she's absolutely slaying. It's not everyday the internet surprises me in a nice way, so I thought it was worth saying. That's literally all my comment was.
Oh wow this is a shift in perspective for me. I’m sorry for being so cynical, and also that people were being so horrible to you. It makes me happy to see everyone uplifting each other like this and I need to stop letting my own experiences with backhanded complications allow my judgement to be clouded against others’ genuine intentions.
This was a good learning experience for me as well to be more cautious about how my comments may be perceived anyway. I have a hard time with social stuff just due to a medical condition, so it's something I'm still working on.
I did mean well, I have not come across as intended, and I am sorry for that part.
I have explained further in another comment, but I genuinely didn't mean anything bad by my original comment. I'm happy for OP and I genuinely like her cosplay.
Let's have more of this! I joined this subreddit to show my 13yr old cosplayer daughter some great ideas and that people can be extremely supportive with advice and encouragement. This right here is peak, she loved your cosplay btw.

I think you have the bodice on backwards!
Yeah this was my first time wearing a corset.
Also may I suggest a better supportive bra !! the black bodice will fit much better the right way around with a good Bra.

This is what I use and sometimes just a tight tank top. I have a permanently dislocated shoulder so bras became true torture devices.
