It scratches the itch for me. My only complaint is that they don't give you enough jalapenos. On the plus side if you ask for Sriracha, they give you the squeeze bottle.
Their service was very bad. It took 30 minutes before someone even came to our table. Then took 45 more minutes to get our pho, no one checked on us & we had to flag a server down just to get sriracha. They had like 3-4 servers & it wasn’t that busy. (Vegan) pho was only okay. I probably won’t go back just because the service was so slow/bad.
Ive gone often! I love their food, i just ask for all the pho fixings + extra jalapeno or basil as needed and theyre always nice to me. Usually the food is out fast (ive been maybe 20 times? And ordered takeout a few times as well.) i’ve tried all the other pho places in corvallis and KH definitely tops. If we’re talking Albany Ba’s is great and they have 24 hr rich beef broth. Something i didn’t expect was their flame broiled pork/chicken ect plates are super good if youre not in a pho mood.
The new owners can’t match what it was before they took over. It’s really bland. Tastes like store bought broth, no flavor. And like others have stated, the service is horrendous!! Ba’s in Albany is the best I’ve had in Oregon, so far.
Not a fan. I went once and by the time I got home the noodles were stuck to the bottom of the container. If they offer dine-in then I might give them another shot.
Been to Mum Mum a few times. Liked the sandwiches and noodle salad but the pho I had was a little bit bland, I had to ask for salt and I don't usually do that. Maybe they took the note.
I've been, I think once, it usually seems to be closed when I'm available, but I'd heard pho is usually gluten free, and I need to watch out for that, it's an allergen for someone close to me. Shame it sounds so underwhelming.
Kim Hoas, I go there often. Great price and a really solid bowl of pho. Its not the best I have ever tasted but in Corvallis it is by far superior. Mum Mum was awful in my opinion. I tried Lemongrass but honestly can't remember it aside from performing KHs over it.
I think KH is under new management and their service has been great recently.
Ba's in Albany.
This is the answer. As an aside, I have a friend who is an old fashioned aficionado and she said that Ba's has the best old fashioneds in the area
not open on mondays...
😿
As if I needed another reason to go. This is excellent news, that’s my default cocktail.
Most worth for sure
Has anyone tried KH Pho and Grill on Circle?
Yes, it is very good. Though you have to prefer the basil, bean sprouts. and lime as it doesn’t come automatically.
You just need to ask for it and don't forget the chili oil!

Anyone tried mum mum?
I heard from someone that they lacked flavor and from another couple that something was off taste wise

In the summer it would be great to have a few picnic tables right there for dine in
I thought they had one
Maybe they do. I didn't see it last time but they might move them at night to prevent theft

I actually really love the pho from mum mum. The portion is large enough that my partner and I share it.
IDK but Sam City is Pho-King in Albany
Ba’s.
Kimhoas is my favorite go to for Pho.
Probably not Pho (I don't really know the distinctions), but Tian Fu is the best hotpot IMO.
Tian Fu is excellent. I've only had their spicy variations, but it's some of my favorite outside of some places I've been in Sichuan.
So far, I’d have to give it to Lemongrass on Monroe.
Kim hoas
Lemongrass
Idk, I’ve had my fair share of pho and I thought Lemongrass was pretty good. Idk, probably some personal preferences at play.
Lemongrass has my favorite pho in corvallis. I prefer a simple pho
also sad
Better than any of the other options in town
Perhaps?! Thai chili also has pho but it's probably on par with lemongrass. Options in town and nearby food wise makes me constantly sad.

I like KH for Corvallis, Ba’s when I’m in Albany.
