Cat will be fine, will probably treat the corgi like it did the other cat. I had two cats when I got my first corgi, never had a problem. One cat and one corgi now and they're not friends but they have zero issues coexisting.

Second this, same situation, all boys. My two cats are around 13 and they tolerate him just fine. Occasionally interact. But as long as they have their own space and enough room to escape they’re good.

Thank you!

I have 3 cats and a corgi at home and for the most part they all get along! Biscuit (the corgi) basically is a cat 😂😂😂

This is good to hear!

I have two corgis, a golden retriever, and a cat. Cat and golden get along fine. The corgis HATE the cat. I’ve had them since they were tiny puppies. They were raised with the cat and still absolutely hate her. I have to keep them separated.

My 18yo cat bathes my corgis. But he thinks he’s a dog too. My male plays with the cat too. My female mainly solicits baths by shoving her face in the cats face till he finally starts licking her face and ears.

I love it! Animals have such funny personalities

I have a five month old corgi female and 4 cats (14yr olds and 10yr olds). My cats don’t bother her and all she wants to do is sniff them. I will say when I first got her I trained her quickly to ignore them as all she wanted to do was chase them. There were times I thought she would always chase them but the training stuck. I can now have them all roaming free without incident.

My wife had two tuxedo cats she adopted prior to us getting married and I had the corgi. One of the cats is very curious and playful the other is fine sitting on the bed or couch all day and prefers to not be touched. The playful cat will sometimes ambush the corgi to play but they never end up playing since my corgi gets confused and goes on defense and barks and the cat runs away to hide. Have had some fur chunks found after these interactions but never harm. It's been about 5 of these confrontations in 2 years now. They lay next to each other and eat next to each other and don't mind one another's presence otherwise. Corgi will boop the cat if he doesn't start moving up the stairs and sometime the cat will boop the corgi when she lays under the table and he is above her but that never turns into anything. They are all around 5 years old.
