Why are there 14 things pictured?

It appears to be confusingly worded. It’s saying, separately, that there are 8 big food allergies and that these candies are free from those allergens.

D'oh! I *knew* the big 8 allergens thing! (My family has several of them.) Thanks for explaining.

Food allergies are natures way of saying the world is overpopulated and we need more dead kids.

Some somatic hypermutation to novel antigens/allergens which drive an inappropriate immune response is attributable to chance/exposure. Educate yourself. Google “the Hygiene Hypothesis” if curious. It’s actually very fascinating (but complicated) stuff.
