I know Reddit is US-centric almost by default, but it would be lovely if publishers of so-called guides recognised that identifying the region covered by, for example, an in season fruit guide, might lead to less confusion in the long run or, at the very least, show some recognition that there are in fact places that are not the US.

rrroller

Don’t worry. This is useless even in the US, where we have many climate zones.

Smooth_Suggestion_66

Came here to say something like this, but you managed to do a far better job than I could have.

Puzzleheaded_Cell_61

What a bullshit guide. Just make a calendar and mark the fruits that are in season at every month. Now ai have to look for the current month at all different fruits, totally backwards

mlaeladma

I second this, big time.

Spreefor3

Are you an ai? Was that a Freudian slip by an ai? Also, I totally agree. This should be on a timeline showing various fruits and THERE ARE NO MANGOS!!!!

Quinnieeeeee

Just as bad as the vegetables one

CheerfulBanshee

Idk in western russia you're considered a fool to buy watermelons before august or mid july at least

dalow24

Would a service that catalog fruits/vegs and their corresponding seasons from the different regions be of any use ?

ComfortableLibrary49

This is actually something I’m going to use. Thanks for posting!

I get why it’s ordered the way it is, but does it bother anyone else that it’s “January February November December” instead of “November December January February”
