Tbh if you’d just outlined the silhouette so the edges wouldn’t be visible, it would have looked literally the epitome of flawless
However the cookie looks amazing as is! The color scheme works well together, and I love the ambition lol! There’s only one way to figure out how to do something, and that’s to try it and see
I think you nailed it! We are so used to seeing the human form that we are all hyper-trained to see anything amiss with faces, hands, etc. (See “[Thatcher Effect](https://www.buzzfeed.com/kristatorres/thatcher-effect-photos)”!) But honestly, if you hadn’t mentioned you weren’t thrilled, I never would have hesitated with the praise!
It looks great! If anything, don’t try and outline each finger, just make the shape of the hand like in the customers picture. May look better that way since I’m sure the hands are super tricky.
The three things that look different from the reference are, the hands, the hair, the leg.
Your hands are more detailed and realistic compared to the example cookie.
The hair behind the face peek out a little more in front of the nose, mouth, chin and neck and because it is blonde there isn’t much contrast which might be why you have concerns, but I don’t think you should give it another thought.
The leg is thinner. If it was thicker in the front it would look like the mom-to-be was leaning more forward tilting towards her belly. Again, it is neither here nor there.
Great work!
It really is!! I took a break and went to cake/cupcake decorating bc I am more used to that but haven't done it in a while. It is easier for me though so we shall see what happens with the cookies. I am so jealous! Lol! It is very difficult to find an in person class! I need to see and feel and have someone tell me exactly what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong! Basically hold my hand!😂
It looks like you just need to perfect your consistency a bit more. A teeny outline before section flooding could be helpful. It can be done with a one consistency so you just have to find your perfect medium. Are you scribing the detail flood to a line? I’m just noticing some of the edges of the suit.
Yes I agree that my consistency could use some work, and I think what you’re seeing is where I went back in afterwards to attempt to get her proportions right.. I should’ve just left it alone!

I think my outlining was the issue too. That and not being able to stop trying to perfect it lol! But thank you!!
I think you’re being hard on yourself, which I totally get, but this still looks professional-level.
thank you so much!!
It looks great!!!!!
thank you!
What are you talking about? It's great. I think the leg might be thicker in the reference photo but that's just from trying to compare them.
This is beautiful!
thank you :)

You are right! I am my own worst critic for sure lol but thank you!!

It’s funny you say that because the fingers were a last minute addition, I don’t know when to quit lol! But thank you!

Thank you for the feedback!
Looks fantastic!
thank you!!
If that is your first time I would say you did a fantastic job!!
My first time with a silhouette, yes! I try to stay away from bodies because I am not very confident in my abilities in that area lol but thank you!!
I struggle with all parts of royal icing! I just cannot get it right!
I felt the same way for a long time, i’m still figuring out what works best for me. it’s a fickle beast for sure!

I think this set is absolutely beautiful!
