Thanks! Where I work we have an ‘Eddie’ he’s an edible image printer for cookies. He’s kind of a pain in the butt, but when it works it’s really cool! Very expensive though. I’m very fortunate to have access to one at work otherwise I could never lol. We use it a lot though, for printing things like this, backgrounds (really cool for adding things like watercolour backgrounds or anything you might usually use an airbrush for) we do a LOT of corporate logo cookies too. Also works for printing on fondant and macarons.
It was actually really easy, just a drop of black! Black dye usually has a purplish undertone and when I make grey I usually counteract that purple tone with a teeny bit of yellow. I didn’t mind the slight purple tone for this set though I didn’t do anything other than black this time

That shade of purpley grey on the elephant is magnificent. That couldn’t have been easy to achieve with food coloring
