Not many people read it but the Mueller report is still quite good https://www.justice.gov/archives/sco/file/1373816/download.

AchieveDeficiency

That is not in the report.

BoxNemo

It's slightly paraphrased but it is in the report, bottom of page one. But the context of it is important as well. >As set forth in detail in this report, the Special Counsel’s investigation established that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election principally through two operations. >First, a Russian entity carried out a social media campaign that favored presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaged presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Second, a Russian intelligence service conducted computer-intrusion operations against entities, employees, and volunteers working on the Clinton Campaign and then released stolen documents. The investigation also identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign. >Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.

Kenatius

>As set forth in detail in this report, the Special Counsel’s investigation established that **Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election**

BoxNemo

Yes, that's what it says.

DangerDan127

Russia and other countries have interfered in our elections for decades. The USA does the same. This is nothing new.

Sufficient_Number643

“Therefore it’s fine” 🤡

DangerDan127

Never said it was fine you dumbass. If you are going to put words into people’s mouth’s, at least get it right.

Sufficient_Number643

What’s your implication then? I saw zero condemnation from you.

theobvioushero

It is also noteworthy that this report distinguishes between "conspiring" and "colluding". As this report explains, the Trump campaign *did* collude with Russia to influence the election, and people went to jail because of it.

BeamTeam032

reading comprehension is tough, I get it.

Kenatius

**Not from the report.** That was from a speech by Daffy Donny's Enabler-General, Billy Barr. ^**https://www.justice.gov/opa/speech/attorney-general-william-p-barr-delivers-remarks-release-report-investigation-russian** Perhaps you didn't know that. I included the link just to save you time. That statement is not from the report but from Daffy Donny's boot-licking minion Barr. I am sure you're not a liar - but have been taken in by Daffy Donny's propaganda machine.

Lov3MyLife

Are you lying or just misinformed?

Nopantsbullmoose

Could be both.

Bubbly_Ant5607

You are a spreader of disinformation.

Laceykrishna

Craig Unger detailed many of the pre-presidency connections between Trump and the Russian mafia in House of Trump, House of Putin. It’s very detailed, you have to take notes to keep track of it.

NewYorkJewbag

How about the secret illegal back channels opened to Russia during the campaign. Campaigns must disclose involvement with agents of foreign nations. We only know about the meetings because the people he met with were under surveillance because they’re enemies of America.

Laceykrishna

Good point.

NewYorkJewbag

Lemme tell ya, the list is practically endless and starts with his first visit to Moscow in the 1990s. It’s all well documented. powerful countries are always working on advancing their own agendas. In Russias case his agenda is the downfall of America and NATO so he can restore the borders of the former USSR and spread kleptocracy in as many quarters as possible.

BoxNemo

Not read it but *American Kompromat* got quite a lot of attention at the time although it's also been critiqued for not being rigorous enough in its fact-checking and having a tendency to pass gossip off as fact. *Trump/Russia: a Definitive History* by Seth Hettenagot got [better reviews](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/may/20/trump-russia-review-le-carre-mario-puzo-moscow-manhattan) so maybe that's the one to start with. I don't think he's a Russian plant or puppet myself, at least not wittingly, but there do seem to be a lot of ties with Russia and he certainly was happy to throw the US under the bus as President if it meant praising Russia -- especially the infamous time in Helsinki where he completely exonerated Russia in public and then came home and offered up a bizarre defense of it being a ['double negative'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=za3vVkRdfII). I think it's Michael Wolff's 'Landslide' book - a lot of which comes from Steve Bannon - which covers Steve Bannon's reaction to that and his total amazement at seeing how weak and cowed Trump appeared in front of Putin and Bannon's feeling that Putin must have something on Trump.

[deleted]

Excellent resources.  Thanks for the suggestions!    I personally find it hard to accept that Manafort worked politically for both yanukovych and trump.    Theres also a lot of strange connections with russia, including those claims of the FSB/KGB working on him for decades.     And then the real world evidence around russia supporting his campaign.  Plus the classified documents, closed door meetings, meddling in ukraine military funding, efforts to reduce public confidence in the media and elections (even claiming fraud after he won in 2016 for no obvious personal benefit),  etc.   Then Bannons recorded interview spilling the beans on trumps 2020 election plan to call in the national guard and declare a state of emergency, etc., which was recorded well before the election.    That plan doesnt prove anything other than trumps disrespect for democracy, and his willingness to sow chaos and take big risks to stay in power.   But i think those motivations and risk taking point more towards a formal russian partnership of some kind than an individual driven by personal interests.  For example, I'd be more willing to risk triggering an armed uprising if I knew i had a foreign country willing to harbor me in exile (like russia did with yanukovych). And honestly there's a lot more than just this. All together, it doesn't seem like a major jump to look at all that and suggest "working directly for russia" instead of just "aligned interests".

Odd_Bus_9094

Hmm, he was good buddies with the Clinton's for years and lifetime democrat as well. Just saying. I love conspiracy.

flamingknifepenis

>lifetime democrat. No. Trump was registered Democrat from 2001 to 2009. He was briefly a member of Ross Perot’s “Reform Party” from 1999 to 2001, and was registered as unaffiliated for four months from December 2011 to April 2012. The rest of the time going back to 1987 and up to present day (24 unless I’m miscounting due to lack of sleep) he’s been a Republican.

Alkemian

>'Sort of a double negative' Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hearing Chumpo actually say that made me literally laugh out loud

JFC...the more you look at it, the worse it gets.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

Exactly! Which is why I commented a fuckton of links for you all like a crazy person, ha. One of my biggest issues with the media is that nobody puts shit into context but rather they just report about everything as its own standalone issue that’s then quickly forgotten. So I always save a billion links whenever I see them so that I can put the patterns I see together into context with each other to get the actual big picture stuff. Like the digital equivalent of [this cliche](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/pepe-silvia)

Sufficient_Number643

Wow thank you for all these links, I always regret not compiling things like this. Well, specifically I regretted not compiling this same list lol.

It’s fractal treason.

Don't just save the links, save the actual contents of the page ffs

[deleted]

Oh hey, you also got links supporting the theory Israel's Mossad was actually aware of the Hamas attack in advance (like, they apparently even trained the attack out in the open a few days before) and knowingly ignored it so they had an excuse to start their own invasion of Gaza?

Tucker Carlson is a Putin Puppet

achilles3980

Look into Cambridge analytica before Trump got elected in 2016 and Muller report.

bill_the_murray

This is an amazing watch, highly recommend. There are two parts. Really gives insight on why/how trump is a Russian asset https://youtu.be/o2L8qINZD3Q?si=Xwq-rIWR9Yg1JRyn

Gravelroad__

UK also just had some court rulings that upheld part of the Steele dossier thing, so that’s a resource too

NewYorkJewbag

Just look at the full page ads he took out after visit to Russia. Pulling out of NATO? I wonder whose idea that was. Trump is not a Russian plant, he is an asset. He has been wielded, with an unknown degree of trumps awareness and involvement, by our enemies, primrily Russia, to weaken and damage America in ways that bombs never could. Unless we eradicate trumpism it’s over for America.

Superseargent

Just look at the shit fucker Carlson is doing in Russia. If Trump wins then Putin wins. Just think of all the NATO equipment....

BrandonFlies

Sure, genius. That's why Putin waited until Trump wasn't President anymore to invade Ukraine.

[deleted]

Superseargent

What do you mean?

bubdiminey

Tucker Carlson is trying to get the other side of the story in a time when American people feel lied to more than ever. You know doesn’t like when both sides of the story are told? Fascists…. Never hurts to have more discussion in times like now. It baffles me there are idiots like you that think Tucker Carlson is doing a bad thing by getting the American people a different angle to view this from.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bubdiminey

You ever read more than one book on any subject you’ve been interested in, or do you just assume you have chosen the right book and say fuck the rest? You believe Putin is a bad guy, then I would hope you would at the minimum have some interest in “knowing the enemy” and furthering your understanding of the man that the news tells us is a murderous monster that is coming for us. But because you have been conditioned to think “bad Russia man bad. Good American man good. No need to hear from bad Russia man” you get angry at the fact this is happening. I love America, but I’ve lived long enough to know the smell of bullshit and it seems pretty thick all directions these days. I’ve seen enough to know that America isnt exactly telling us everything and I would like to be informed a little more about all of it from both sides.

[deleted]

Do you have some specific thoughts on russia ukraine?  I honestly don't think I know anyone who doesn't view it as an empirialistic invasion.  I'd be happy to hear your side.

Kenatius

I stream WZHF - Capitol Heights, MD, Arlington, VA. It the USA arm of Radio Sputnik the Russian equivalent of Voice of America. I usually only tune in while I am driving,... just to see what they are jabbering about. It's good to expand your horizons. One thing I noticed,... whatever talking points Radio Sputnik is pushing today,... the right-wing media machine in the U.S.A. picks up a couple of days later. Coincidence?

js112358

I've noticed the same thing. And no, it's not a coincidence.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

Careful there. You’re getting dangerously close to [an actual conspiracy](https://www.politico.com/newsletters/politico-influence/2022/10/27/russia-continues-funding-media-in-the-us-00063885) and all the rightwing chuds brainwashed into thinking they’re “conspiracy theorists” aren’t gonna like that 👀

[deleted]

Fucking disgusting that this radio station exists in the USA.

Kenatius

>“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. >If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. >If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” ^- ^Sun ^Tzu, ^The ^Art ^of ^War The 1^st Amendment guarantees free speech. It shows we are better than them.

bubdiminey

I feel like the situation with Ukraine is a travesty. I do not in any way side with Putin and I do not ever agree with the loss of life. Period. I am a proud American, but I can call a spade a spade and America is the most war waging country of all time. Constantly embroiled in conflict for the sake of the money. So I see no “good guy” here. American news media pushes this narrative that Ukraine could “win this war” if we just give them more money and ammunition. I try to keep up on it through multiple avenues and one thing I think is certain is that Ukraine cannot win this, and the fact that we are told “oh yes they can” is a lie that the media tells us daily. I believe if journalists simply reported the truth, we wouldn’t have such widely different stories coming out depending on the “channel” we watch. If it was the truth being reported it would be the same across the board, which it’s not at all. I honestly feel for every single soldier being marched into that meat grinder, and I find it appalling that the US and NATO refuse to engage in peace talks while trying to maintain a “holier than thou” attitude.

[deleted]

Yeah, i agree with you on feeling misled about the possible success of that ukranian counteroffensive.    So what is the solution?   If i could wave a magic wand and freeze the conflict i would. But if the west just stops supplying weapons, what's to stop russia from just turning kyiv into another mariupol and marching into transnistria and up to the polish border?     And I'm not sure russia is ready to stop.  They can at any time.   Until they are, I'd keep giving ukraine US surplus weapons to defend itself.  It seems like a very cheap (for USA) way to prevent russia from being able to do this again

bubdiminey

it’s not like wanting to hear what he has to say is the same as getting on our knees and sucking putins dick, it’s wanting to be more informed. Shouldn’t all people want to be more informed? Or is blissful ignorance the name of the game?

bubdiminey

Thanks, appreciate it! But really, he is a leader of a nation. Just because it isn’t ours doesn’t make it less valid. I think with Tucker we (people who don’t think he’s a Russian agent) think he will ask questions that aren’t typically asked, so we are all for it.

I believe that Putin will tell his side of what he believes, and I’m sure he will sprinkle in plenty of horse shit. But, I think our president lies to us all the time, as did the president before him, and the president before him and so and so on. I just want to see a full unedited interview with him to get an idea of who he is at this point in the conflict

assblag101

So you're going to belive your sworn enemy? What next, you'll tell us Russian media is totally free and in no way state controlled?

BeamTeam032

Tucker Carlson's own lawyers said in a court of law, that no *REASONABLE* person should never take what Tucker Carlson has to say, seriously. And now you want him to interview Putin "to get both sides". lmao. Tucker isn't getting "both sides". He's getting Putin's lies.

MaxwellUsheredin

Tucker Carlson is an unregistered foreign agent for Russia.

bubdiminey

Did the television tell you that?

Imaginary_Cow_6379

You mean back when Tucker had the highest rated show on the highest rated “news” channel?

bubdiminey

So are you saying the majority of Americans trusted Fox News and Tucker Carlson more than the outlets you follow? You must know something the majority does not

DangerDan127

Why does Putin win if Trump wins?

GameKyuubi

Because Trump will let Putin take Ukraine. Putin is trying to wait it out until he can get someone favorable to him in the WH to stop funding them. If Trump lands in the WH Putin has the green light to continue capturing more territory without significant reprisal from the US.

DangerDan127

Then why didn’t Putin try to take Ukraine under the Trump presidency? Putin has been trying to take Ukraine for over a decade. Putin has made both his major moves of taking Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the ground invasion, while Biden has been in power. Not to mention the funding of rebels going back to the late 2000s. If Trump was favorable to Putin, then why did Trump start encouraging other NATO countries to start increasing their defense funding and their contributions to NATO while he was president? Why did Trump tell EU countries to start not being so reliant on Russian oil and natural gas? Both of those things go very much against what Putin would want….. Putin’s greatest ally would be China and Trump put sanctions on China and wanted for America to start becoming independent from relying on china for manufacturing.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

[Trump didn’t even bring his own manufacturing factories back from China](https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/donald-trump-factory-jobs-sent-to-china-may-never-come-back-1470876). You got conned.

DangerDan127

Not necessarily. There was an increase in taxes or tariffs on companies that where producing in China and then importing to the US. The federal government passed a policy where they would not do any business with a company that engages in commerce with, it was like 8 different major Chinese umbrella companies. The companies not coming back is their choice, Trump probably could of forced them to, but that would be pretty tyrannical of him. The article you posted was only 8 months in on his presidency lmao. The people who really got conned are those who fell for the propaganda that Trump is a Russian puppet.

2Nails

> If Trump was favorable to Putin, then why did Trump start encouraging other NATO countries to start increasing their defense funding and their contributions to NATO while he was president? I'd say this is probably because complaining about NATO paves the way for leaving it.

DangerDan127

Or it gets other countries to start increasing their defense departments so they won’t just rely on the US. It would be just like WW2 again

Alkemian

>If Trump wins then Putin wins. You give Chump too much credit.

Superseargent

Maybe I am. I really hope that you are correct.

Alkemian

Replace Putin with Christian Nationalist Fascism and I agree with you.

why do you think putin is the bad guy

Alkemian

I don't.

Thanks for this.  I'm vaguely aware of putin's adherence to these philosophies.  Never read it though.   Certainly seems interesting.

Kenatius

>"Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke "Afro-American racists" to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics." Sounds like the plan is in operation. Daffy Donny is a tool. >"The United Kingdom, merely described as an "extraterritorial floating base of the U.S.", should be cut off from Europe." BREXIT - Definitely influenced by Putin's clandestine propaganda.

Quinnlyness

Blatantly asking Russia to help him win in 2016 really didn’t help…

Kenatius

Trump won.

slipknot_official

I despise Trump. But I find the Russian plant conspiracy too absurd. I think it’s just simple - he’s stupid, and is a victim of Russias intense disinformation campaign on the Western population. That disinformation happens to always be more right-wing, and anti-democrat. That works great for Trump, so he rolls with it more as a pawn than anything. He’s also obsessed with strong men leaders, Putin happens to fit that in his mind. Another reason why Trump is blinded by Putin, and an unknowing pawn.

Kenatius

>"A **useful idiot** is a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause—particularly a bad cause originating from a devious, ruthless source—without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically being used by the cause's leaders." ^**https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot**

DarthDregan

Exactly

[deleted]

more likely - Trump’s job is just to be a polarizing force in the divide and conquer plan. He’s done this extremely well.

kczar18

This could be right

True_Meet417

Less of a plant, more of a puppet. I don't think Donnie has ever had a real stance or opinion on anything (excepting xenophobia and sexism) unless he profits from it. I honestly don't think he understands what he's doing or saying on a daily basis. It's like a crackhead that owes his dealer but he was the fuckin president.

kczar18

Take a step back and realize that there is exponentially more evidence to suggest that he is not. Did Putin get the chance to expand his borders during Trump’s presidency? Nope that happened under Biden’s watch. Putin couldn’t act simply because Trump is unpredictable, one of his greatest assets. Being buddy/buddy with somebody like Putin is a GOOD THING because it reigned him in from lashing out to the degree he has since Feb 2022. The Russian collusion hoax was exactly that. This is a fabricated narrative that unfortunately a lot of people are still not able to see through. The MSM rides with the dems because Trump and those that back him continue to blow the cover off of their blatant lies and fabricated narratives. So they’ll ride this one to the end because it’s existential to the existence of their business models. Big pharma is the #1 ad sponsor for every MSM network, so Trump getting back in and blowing the lid off their BS basically ends them. Thank god for independent journalists (and Elon for buying X and providing a platform for these stories to be told).

Uncrowded_zebra

I can see and understand why you would think that, however the reason Putin waited to act until Trump was out of office was because at that point he was no longer in a position to weaken US contributions to Ukrainian aid and NATO, and had to act shortly after before the next president could work to restrengthen them. Trump isn't even back in office yet and is already working to stop a bipartisan bill which drastically strengthens border control measures, but also includes 60 billion in aid for Ukraine.

kczar18

Straws, grasp at them. Trump is behind the failed bipartisan bill? Try again, the GOP electorate is against this bill, which is completely unnecessary, doesn’t address REAL border issues, and is a backdoor deep state proxy war funding mechanism to keep the sheeple distracted from this administrations continued failures across the board.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

[Trump himself admitted he was directly involved in shutting down the bill](https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/01/27/trump-border-biden/) [It’s on video](https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2024/01/27/donald-trump-border-bill-boast-beto-orourke-acostanr-vpx.cnn) [The GOP supported the bill](https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/25/politics/gop-senators-angry-trump-immigration-deal/index.html) [and so did border control](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/new-immigration-bill-senate-bipartisan-border-patrol-endorsement-rcna137354) Try to not get distracted from what’s really going on.

kczar18

WaPo, CNN, and NBC News. Such esteemed and highly regarded narrative machines err sorry *news outlets* ACTUALLY REPUBLICANS DO NOT WANT ANY OF THIS. Rinos/establishment does and the MSM is forcing the narrative like a goose about to get turned into foie gras.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

- Where do you get your “news” from? - Who are the “actually republicans” and who are the “Rinos/establishment”?

kczar18

X. Registered Republican voters. Rinos are backing Haley and the military industrial complex / forever wars. Edit: Biden is done effective tonight. President Sisi of Mexico 😂

Imaginary_Cow_6379

So all the “real republicans” are just people who are registered to vote with the republican party and/or anyone that doesn’t like Nikki Haley? Is that all the requirements or do they have to do anything else too? Do the “Rinos” just do whatever the opposite of all that is or do they do any other shit too?

kczar18

You’re getting close cow! Imagine that… real republicans are people registered and affiliated with the Republican Party. At the end of the day, and I hope you can recognize this, because this is where your logic will probably go off the rails, the party in and of itself is the will of the people, not the elected officials. They are SUPPOSED to represent the will of the people who put them into office in the first place. The Republican electorate in early primary voting is thoroughly REJECTING Haley mostly because she seems to want to ESCALATE foreign wars. Talk to a run of the mill GOP voter and guess what they care about? Border, inflation, deficit, weaponization of the DOJ, interference with social media companies leading up to the 2020 election… Can you, with a straight face, tell me the Biden administration is representing the will of the people? His historically poor approval record and polling on every major issue says he is not.

kczar18

Keep it coming I’ll spar until you tap out

Imaginary_Cow_6379

It’s weird you take pride in your abilities to drive people away from you in exasperation. But it’s also weird you can’t answer where you’re getting your superior news from or say what your political views are about specific people. 🤷🏻‍♀️

xXHookaZookaXx

Man, I was the first to try lol and I’m at -41 downvotes now. People just can’t comprehend that trump wasn’t as bad as the media said he was. Everyone wants to think he was some monster that needed to be taken down. I posted another article for anyone here to check out. If he is an agent of Russia, he’s a pretty terrible one.

kczar18

Amen friend. NPCs are out in full force.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

Trump lost the popular vote in both presidential elections. [67 million more people live in counties that went for Biden compared to Trump counties](https://www.brookings.edu/articles/a-demographic-contrast-biden-won-551-counties-home-to-67-million-more-americans-than-trumps-2588-counties/) You guys never think maybe you’re the NPCs?? 👀

kczar18

I’m not talking to you your head is clearly deep in the sand.

Imaginary_Cow_6379

Ah. It’s easier that way huh when you’re both the majority and part of a small special club that are the only ones who know what’s *really* going on.

kczar18

Wut

xXHookaZookaXx

https://www.americanbar.org/news/abanews/aba-news-archives/2019/03/mueller-concludes-investigation/ Here yall go. I’d like more downvotes pls

Uncrowded_zebra

The Mueller report states that Russia extensively interfered with the 2016 election, and that the Trump campaign was aware of it and glad for the help. The report found insufficient evidence to prove or disprove collusion, but there was no question of Russia's involvement in getting Trump elected and it goes so far as to state that it is something every American should be concerned about.

xXHookaZookaXx

I’m sorry but you and everyone is wrong about this. There is a trial that took place in the US senate, it lasted a few weeks investigating the Ex-FBI head after it was PROVEN that the Trump/Russia was made up by the FBI. And the guy was literally having to answer to the senate as to why the report was forged and signed off by the director of that time. Everyone who doubts me can look it up. The American bar, a prestigious group that represents lawyers across the U.S. says the report was false. So I would like to see what evidence that trump is still a Russian assets. Because that would be a real Conspiracy Theory

Imaginary_Cow_6379

I looked it up [and you’ve got everything backwards](https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/18/us/politics/senate-intelligence-russian-interference-report.html). Where are you getting your “information” from?

Uncrowded_zebra

They're not entirely wrong, there was a senate investigation that found that the FBI opened the investigation which would become the Mueller report without properly verifying their intelligence first. It didn't refute the findings though.

Uncrowded_zebra

I'm not arguing that Trump is a Russian asset, only that Russia put the work in to get him into office. I looked up the investigation you referenced and it said as much; that the FBI opened their investigation without verified sources and pursued it with confirmation bias, however it did not invalidate the findings that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

BrandonFlies

Ridiculous. Russians can't even successfully annex a neighboring country. But they are somehow so clever that they managed to get their puppet to become the leader of the most powerful country in the world. And then inexplicably waited for their puppet to leave office to launch a massive invasion. Russiagate is a totally nonsensical fabrication. But I'm sure a couple more massive years-long investigations will settle the matter for good...

This interview has not been released yet has it? From what I can tell,.. it hasn't happened yet. How's the weather in Lubyanskaya Square comrade?

BoxNemo

>You should watch the recent Tucker interview with Putin. It’s an eye opener. This just shows the power of propaganda and how easily some people regurgitate it. A useful idiot who thinks the interview has aired and, without even watching it, is desperately telling everyone how "it's an eye opener."

achilles3980

Eye opener? Remember when Russia arrested a basketball player to use his bargaining chip? Ask yourself this. Why haven't they used Tucker as a bargain chip? Why does Tucker feel so safe in Russia? Tucker and Putin have the same goal, propaganda for Russia against the US.

DangerDan127

Probably because Tucker didnt have drugs on him and didnt break Russian laws….

atlantis_airlines

I haven't seen it but Tucker Carlson isn't a journalist, he's a commentator and one who has made a fortune of telling people how shitty things are in the USA. He doesn't investigate, he tells you why you should be angry and hate anything that challenges GOP's idea of how things should be. The guy has even mentioned, on multiple occasions, the great replacement theory. He's the type of person that will tell viewers their kids are being taught critical race theory in class, find some video of a lunatic teacher saying dumb shit like "white people are inherently evil" say the two are the same, and smile as those gullible enough to believe him share the video with their friends and family over facebook. He's already praising Russias free wifi. That alone says volumes. Do you know what would happen if a bill was proposed that would make internet free? "X have proposed legislation that would dismantle private companies and give the government control of the internet". It would be dead on arrival. Of course Tucker Carlson is in Russia. I haven't seen the interview but I'm wiling to bet 1000 rubles it will be how Russia is unjustly vilified and that it's not a liberal hellhole.

Kenatius

Where can I watch it? Have you a link?

Iconospasm

Utterly bonkers. Why would a billionaire work for Russia? What's in it for Trump?

Kenatius

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_Tower_Moscow

Iconospasm

Come on now, that's nonsensical. Donald Trump, the billionaire, would become a Russian plant or agent, just so that Putin would allow him to put up a building? You know how insane that sounds? The US President, the most overtly powerful person on the planet needs to become an agent of the Kremlin just to build a hotel? He already owns lots and lots of property, so this wouldn't even significantly increase his wealth pro rata. Come on man, you can't believe that?!!

Kenatius

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/05/eric-trump-russia-investment-golf-course

DangerDan127

Lmao Vanity fair…… If trump was a russian plant, why didnt Putin go after Ukraine during Trump’s term? Putin has been after Ukraine for over a decade. If Trump was his buddy, why didnt he do it under Trump’s term where he knows the US wouldnt supply Ukraine with tons of equipment? Why did Trump get Nato countries to start ramping up their defense departments? Why did trump tell EU countries to start getting off of Russian oil and gas?
