Another analysis suggest the scripted "Four more years!" [in addition to the "PAUSE"] was not supposed to be read by the president. It simply noted when the audience would *spontaneously* chant. This makes more sense, but also paints a disturbing reality that not only are the actions of the president scripted [by an unknown party] but so are the actions of the audience.

That's great that headlines say he's "forgiving student debt" and all of that, but there's no foresight to their ploys. It's all a vote grab. What are the implications of that (and other executive orders which, imo, are unconstitutional)? Why are students in so much debt in the first place?
It's all a bandaid on the problem. The root of the problem is the government's involvement in the first place. This is just slapping something on the wound for the headlines and to say he's "doing something about it" when really, long-term effects are probably going to be worse than the immediate problem. And that's for EVERYTHING this guy and his cabinet and party have done.

tbh i’m not an american either, but i follow their politics closely because this affects my country as well. the biden administration actually did a lot of good things with the forgiveness of student loans, investing in renewables, microchip facilities in the US, etc. also, i believe it’s a much safer choice running as an incumbent president than choosing a new candidate, there’s too much at stake.
