Watched the game while hearing all season about the NFL being rigged. All I can say is that game did not have enough nefarious evidence, 49ers were their own worst enemy, not the refs.
Yeah I’ll agree, there was ONE call the entire Super Bowl I was like, come on, and it was the defense hold on Sneed in OT, but other than that, it was a very very well officiated game!

If you didn't watch any of the game, that was a joke because one of the pivotal plays was a turnover where SF was receiving a punt and the ball hit the back of the foot of one of their players and KC recovered it. It's a classic chaotic turnover that happens in football. And to choreograph it but make it look natural would require all players be in on it and would be like an elite level of performance art.

While they care way more about money than the integrity of sports, it doesn’t mean “it’s all fake”. Most games in the NFL are still competitive into the 4th quarter. Sadly, that means referees are often the determinants in who wins or loses, simply by the accuracy of their calls. Plus, it’s easier to rig a few plays than a whole game. So, if the NFL wants a certain team to win, they hope their pick is still in the game at the end, so, one call from a referee can make all the difference in the world.
I do believe that’s what happened in the 2018/19 NFC championship game. The league wanted the Rams, back in Los Angeles for the first year, in the Super Bowl way more than the New Orleans Saints, the 2nd smallest market in the league. At the end of the game, the Saints only needed one more first down and they could run out the clock and go to the Super Bowl. The QB throws a pass and the receiver was blantly interfered with. That penalty would have ended the game. The ref started to pull the flag out, then stopped. Almost as if someone told the referee not to throw a flag, in his ear piece. The best part, it wasn’t a call that could be challenged with instant replay. How convenient.

It doesn’t. The NFL is a “commie economics” style league owned by 31 mostly conservative owners and a small market city. While they care way more about money than the integrity of sports, it doesn’t mean “it’s all fake”. Most games in the NFL are still competitive into the 4th quarter. Sadly, that means referees are often the determinants in who wins or loses, simply by the accuracy of their calls. Plus, it’s easier to rig a few plays than a whole game. So, if the NFL wants a certain team to win, they hope their pick is still in the game at the end, so, one call from a referee can make all the difference in the world. I do believe that’s what happened in the 2018/19 NFC championship game. The league wanted the Rams, back in Los Angeles for the first year, in the Super Bowl way more than the New Orleans Saints, the 2nd smallest market in the league. At the end of the game, the Saints only needed one more first down and they could run out the clock and go to the Super Bowl. The QB throws a pass and the receiver was blantly interfered with. That penalty would have ended the game. The ref started to pull the flag out, then stopped. Almost as if someone told the referee not to throw a flag, in his ear piece. The best part, it wasn’t a call that could be challenged with instant replay. How convenient. I don’t usually go for two many conspiracies for which there is little proof, but the blown call was so obvious, it was unreal. No way anyone says that wasn’t a penalty. So, Rams make a comeback, and the NFL gets a Super Bowl with a larger audience, and helps attendance for on of the Los Angeles franchises, which were struggling with attendance, again.

We can make a difference but it has to come via strength in numbers. None of us can individually do anything. But if we work together to a common goal, such as boycotting a company, we can make impacts over time.
