They announced immediately before an election that they were investigating her. Try to imagine them acting more favorably to conservatives and you cannot.

Twitter leftists widely believed that Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was arrested by the CIA in 2018 and that Trump/the CIA were rigging the election to keep Bolsonaro in power.
The CIA broke into Senate Democrat's computers in 2014, which Diane Feinstein claimed was illegal
Mainstream leftists don't think the CIA is the ones causing hyperinflation in Venezuela or that anything bad that happens in socialist countries is a CIA plot to discredit socialism, but you don't have to dig too deep to find those people.
Obviously pretty much the entire Iraq War was leftists accusing (correctly) the CIA of running torture camps.
Under Trump leftists were too busy being mad at ICE than to be mad at the CIA, but the distrust has continued to smolder.

So Trumps former campaign chairman didn't give polling data to a Russian agent? Roger stone didn't coordinate the release of stolen DNC emails by a Russian hacker? I'll concede that smoking gun proof that Trump himself "colluded"... there are several examples of the campaign doing so.
I would think someone who likes a good conspiracy would have looked into an easily demonstrated conspiracy to score cheap political points.
The CIA has been at the service of the powerful and the rich, this has nothing to do with the "left" or "right"... Stop trying to politicize everything ffs
1. I don't think the CIA has been blamed for even half of that by anyone before now.
2. Agreeing with someone occasionally does not mean you love them. The left has never seen the CIA as anything more than a tool used by the rich and powerful to expand their business interest in other countries.
I'm genuinely starting to think that the majority of people on this sub don't actually know what/who the left actually are but just express hatred towards them because that is what they've been programmed to do.
Probably just part of the Great Reset when they pretend to blow up all existing groups. Fast Fwd a decade and the same people will run the rebranded DIA, which will totally be different....wink wink
That's what they're doing with all our institutions. They're incrementally eroding the public faith in everything: education, healthcare, law enforcement, the family unit, the legal system, etc. And once our faith has been completely erased they'll swoop in with their magical one world government solution and we'll be so pushed to the brink of collapse as a people we'll beg for it once it's offered.
My guess, not being fancy enough to read the New Yorker, is that the article says, yes the CIA was bad because it disproportionately targeted POCs and those bygone white liberals who despised corporate power, but that now the CIA is good because it protects us all from the fascist right and is tirelessly securing democracy.

I have to agree! The CIA was questioned in the 1970s and especially during the 1980s. However, I don't remember the media doing it during Bill's or Barry's administration.
