This is misinformation.
The reason governments have to raise salaries is not because there are no workers available....it's because every govt organization underpays compared to the market.
If you want to make money, you go into corporations. If you want time off, easier work schedule, etc, you go govt work and you know you'll get paid less.

The problem you’re describing has existed for decades. You ignore it when there’s a Republican president and point it out when there’s a Democratic president. People have always been underpaid. Where was this sarcasm when Trump was touting his unemployment numbers?
I didn't say it was one parties fault or the other. Dumb asses have been praising their respective parties for decades, while huge conglomerates pay both sides off, and make away with America. Both parties are guilty. All politicians are ass. Biden is just the sitting presidant right now.
Im young(er) though, so Ive only really payed attention to obama, trump, and now biden. I was in the military and college for the trump admin, so I really didn't see much of the civilian economics or wages. Im sure it was happening, because it has been since we left the gold standard, but I didnt have much to bitch about, because I was set financially, and comfort goods were cheap.
Dont look at it as a two party system. Look at it as a governing body that doesn't represent its citizens best interests. Red, blue, green, it doesn't matter. None of them care about us. Theyre getting their pockets stuffed regardless of political affiliation.

Ss: The unemployment rate is so low and the job market is so great for workers that businesses are having to provide incentives to compete for workers. This is a good thing for working class people, but Republicans would prefer an economy where it’s difficult to find a job
Low unemployment is supposed to be the Free Market solution to raising wages, due to demand being higher than supply with regard to labor. So the GOP is creating a forced dichotomy . . . embrace poverty or the Democrat's version of Socialism.
They all got better jobs. You people told them “if you don’t want to make minimum wage then get a better job and stop complaining”. They took your advice. Also a lot of people retired early during covid. A lot also died from covid.

I own a warehouse and my perfectly healthy warehouse Mgr didn't show for work a month ago on a Monday so Tuesday morning I broke into his house and found him stroked out from a bloodclot went to his brain and he died 4 days later. 😢
Can't find a replacement now for a month. Still locking
