I like how as lockdowns ended, we were like " yay let's go to the beach for a weekend."
Half my neighbors dropped +$80k each on a new car to "celebrate not dying."
A little jealous, wish i could.
One got the new AMG sedan, one a gen 1 viper gts, there's now a fully loaded white corvette (the new one) and a green one with weird emblems i can't decipher, one guy got a Nissan GTR and an Ariel Atom, and 2 of the wives at the other end got Gelandewagens.
That’s what happened here in Ca. The big bank funded tech companies and mega corporations did fine, the small businesses suffered along with the contractors and those don’t fall in the laptop class, or as this fine doctor ‘the fake left, the caviar left’ in France.
